Background FTB myself and my partner.
5% deposit.
Mortgage application put in on 11/11 (nationwide)
Survey (upgraded to homebuyers) complete on 30/11
Survey report received 4/12
Nothing since! I called nationwide directly today as mortgage broker is slow to reply.
They asked my broker for proof of deposit as the one we gave when we applied was slightly under. I sent this over today and updated my broker. I'm angry because nationwide said they asked for this on the 25th November!!!!
I'm loosing my patience now, my solicitor is on fire and most searches are back! At this rate everything is going to be ready except the mortgage offer!!0 -
Also to add, I've checked my credit report and still no search from nationwide 😕0

Evening everyone
Had a rollercoaster of a few days.
Spent 40mins trying to get through to Nationwide on Monday ended up hanging up before they answered to go back to work.
Then Monday afternoon got an email from broker Nationwide have fully approved my mortgage and have also asked if I want the higher amount (brooker says this has never happened before) verified to go for higher amount. Official documents now being processed expected in 2-3days.
Still no credit check done by Nationwide and also no confirmation text or email.
Been told by Brooker that Nationwide sometimes aren't the best at keeping clients directly informed unless they ring.
Have instructed for survey to be done and have also asked for a damp and wood survey but these are now on 2 week backlog because of Christmas...further delays
