Hello! I uploaded a document, called thenlm 2 days later telling them it's taking too long I need to know when I will have an answer as the seller is threatening to pull out (he wasn't but I wanted a date 😂) they said it will take 8 days from when the document was uploaded. I was angry but what can I do? Anyway 2hours later I got a text saying we have a mortgage offer! I also didn't have a credit check throughout the whole thing unless it late coming up on my fileTIGASH said:Getting so frustrated
Nationwide have now requested a further one month's (November) payslip before offering the mortgage.
I spoke with them directly and they said the payslip is for compliance reasons only and everything else has been confirmed.
However FYI they have also said because of requesting more information It will take approx 8 working days.
My full application went in on 4th of November and offer paperwork still hasn't been processed.
Anyone else having similar complications?
Oh and FYI still no hard credit check done.
Hope everyone having a good week with good news.0 -

I think what I'll do is contact my broker tell them something similar and ask them to contact Nationwide for some indication of date.
How long did yours take from application to offer.

It took 4weeks! Most of the wait was for a valuation to be booked! And again, when I finally called myself I managed to get it booked on the day I complained!0 -
Hey everyone
Finally got paperwork through today for official offer.
I took your advice and chased nationwide myself and between us and the mortgage brooker it seems to give them a proper push.
Now all down to solicitors
Thanks for everyone's help.0 -
Thats good news! Frustrating isn't is as we're paying these people enough money! Yet if we don't do it ourselves nothing gets done!TIGASH said:Hey everyone

Hi Everyone,
Please could you let me know who you all got for your Valuation company through nationwide?
i have had a down valuation by £50k with Connell's and myself and the developers are in shock, nothing we can do about it, appealed which goes straight back to connells who are never going to overturn even though we had clear evidence.
so 2nd application time with £20k taken off this time around - has anyone had connell's valuation through nationwide? if not who did you get,
hope you can help x0 -
Hi all,
I applied through a mortgage broker for my Nationwide mortgage on 12th November.
They came back around 8 working days ago asking for confirmation of a recent pay rise I received at work, as without that I was unable to borrow the amount requested (purchasing on single income, amount was around £5000 more than I could afford on previous salary!!!).
I can see Nationwide performed a hard search on 22nd November. A valuation was undertaken on 16th November, where they came back to me with a leasehold issue. This was since resolved and looks as though there was an issue when the vendor bought the freehold, it is in the hands of the solicitor now to resolve as looks like an error on the title, Nationwide seemed satisfied with this.
Does this mean my mortgage is now at underwriter stage? I have been told I should hear next correspondence by COP today, but been chasing them up via my broker regularly. All of our searches have came back, final enquiries being sorted, so keen to get the mortgage sorted now.
Any idea how long I can expect to wait once I hear back at this stage? Is there more checks for Nationwide to perform, or should I expect my mortgage offer to be accepted in the coming days?0 -
I'd say under writers yes. Mine they needed another document then 7 working days later I got my offer I don't think your far offandyfx said:Hi all,

Frustratingly, I have started the new role (with increased salary) but haven't had my first pay slip as of yet! Had to jump through so many hoops getting the correctly addressed letter to prove the new salary to them.... ironically I will be getting a payslip at the end of this week reflecting the new salary!

Hi I also applied with a pay rise! Started job 1st sep and pay rise extra 6k per year started job. We submitted our mortgage application on 11.11 with my new wage. I also gave them a copy of my contract. And was accepted without seeing a payslip with the new wage.andyfx said:
