Solicitor was instructed the day our offer was accepted. Local authority and environmental searches have come back. Homebuyers survey done. What steps are left, any ideas when we will exchange contracts.I've emailed my Solicitor to ask but she doesn't work Thursdays so just looking for your examples of previous timelines thank you.
I've already received this report! She did have some questions that I don't think have come yet. Are environmental and local authority Searched the only ones they do?0 -

Searches all came back! There were 4 in total. Just waiting on additional enquiries from the seller then on to exchange contracts.
I'm very surprised as I thought I'd be waiting a few more weeks for the mortgage! Gotta start getting stuff together now! Wasn't expecting thing to move so fast. Offer for the property was accept Oct 28th! So only 6weeks ago!

Getting so frustrated
Nationwide have now requested a further one month's (November) payslip before offering the mortgage.
I spoke with them directly and they said the payslip is for compliance reasons only and everything else has been confirmed.
However FYI they have also said because of requesting more information It will take approx 8 working days.
My full application went in on 4th of November and offer paperwork still hasn't been processed.
Anyone else having similar complications?
Oh and FYI still no hard credit check done.
Hope everyone having a good week with good news.

Our mortgage has been rejected because underwriter did not include shift allowance or overtime broker going to go bank to appeal this. Has anyone used shift allowence or overtime with their app?0
