Another question sorry... does natwest do another credit search before you actually complete?

Natwest or Nationwide? Pretty sure I didn't have another credit search at completion for my first Nationwide mortgage. If they did check again, the first set of searches could colour the second, which would be a little self-defeating...hawkins1980 said:Another question sorry... does natwest do another credit search before you actually complete?0 -
Sorry, nationwide. The reason I asked is because when looking on other forums I saw its a possibility that the is a further search before completion to check your status hasn't changed, I.e you are still in employment etc. I was just wondering if nationwide do the same.TVR2 said:

Hi,
anyone else waited ages for a valuation to be booked? It says ‘valuation instructed on the 24th August’
but we still haven’t heard anything about a date and it’s been 4 weeks Tuesday since the full application went through 😕0 -
That does seem like a long wait… have you called Nationwide to ask? Has the EA let you know that they’ve been in touch?debtfreeteacher90 said:Hi,

Our Nationwide mortgage advisor who we did the application with have just said ‘everything looks fine.’ EA haven’t been in touch, will try and phone them on Monday.Mover2021 said:

We've heard noting officially regarding our valuation, so I emailed the vendor's estate agent to ask her to let me know if they contact her. Turns out they're all booked in for this Thursday, so I wouldn't trust that Nationwide or the surveyor will inform you of the booking.debtfreeteacher90 said:Hi,
