I'm not good at waiting. Don't know how I'm going to get through these next few weeks if I'm a nervous wreck when my application was only submitted 3 days ago 😂
I got a text to say they were doing a valuation on the 11th. Asked my mortgage advisor the next day if they did it and she said they'd just requested a copy of the home report from the surveyor (I'm in Scotland)
I haven't received a text to say it was received or anything which is upsetting my life😂

I'm also worried because I have a good credit score on both Experian and clearscore, and can see them doing a soft check on me on Clearscore, but when I try to create a TransUnion account, it tells me my credit file is too thin? I don't understand as I'm registered to vote and all my utility bills and phone contract are in my name and paid on time every month.

The process is totally random, sometimes they hard credit check before valuation, sometimes after. There doesn't seem to be much rhyme or reason in the way things are organised!

This is such an accurate description of how most of us are feeling haha! We've literally just received a text saying they have received our valuation report but it was done weeks ago. Anyway hoping for more news soon.

Are you creating a transunion account using Credit Karma? Another option is to view all 3 reports on checkmyfile it's only a free trial for 30days so you have to remember to cancel your subscription if you don't intend to pay monthly after that. I think I've checked my credit files nearly a hundred times since the application was made :#

Yeah I was through Credit Karma! I asked them and they've advised that it only picks up if you sign up with the address your bank is registered to. My bank is still at my parents address (wasn't planning to be renting for long so never changed at the bank!)
Hopefully they can change the address so I can see.
I hope you hear back soon! You've been waiting a long time! I'm worried in case it takes long and the seller of the house thinks I'm at it.
