    Hi,
I got a text today to say a valuation has been booked for my application on the 11/8. Does this mean they did the valuation today?
Yes hopefully they sometimes do desktop valuations too but it might be worth checking with your estate agent (or broker if you have one) that it's been done.

Very very nervous waiting on mine! FTB in Scotland. Im a contractor going through a specialist contract broker. Im worried as im a contractor plus have an outstanding loan of 400 quid (its actually my O2 refresh phone contract, no missed payments or anything but it got my AIP rejected with halifax). Only requesting a mortgage of £51500 for a 90k purchase because of the scotland first home fund.

    DIP 21st July
    Full application 28th July
    Valuation booked text 28th July
    Valuation received text 4th August
Request for first home fund certificate 5th August, submitted same morning.

    Good luck everyone waiting :)

Glad to hear the good news of people getting offers!
We’re still waiting on our valuation.
    Overdraft: PAID:D
    OU Course Fees: PAID:D
:money:Now to save for mortgage... :money:
  • So it's now been a month (13/7) since we put the DIP in at NW. It's 20 working days since our application was accepted. We've had the valuation done yet still no hard searches. I think they have done the initial underwriting as they've asked for additional documents over the last few weeks, the last request being the 3/8 yet still no update. Hate being in limbo of not knowing.
    NW timescales:
    DIP: 13/7
    App: 16/7
    Valuation: 6/8
    NW offer: 20/8

called Nationwide for an update, timescales have gone up again and it affects everyone in the queue so now looking at 20th August for valuation to be approved that said she was wonderful and opened the valuation and confirmed it has come back bang on purchase price so it literally just needs signed off. • Lemliss - that's good to know re timescales. I will give them a call tomorrow as they said 14/8 for when they expect our valuation to be looked at. Seems for you they're just waiting on the final box to be ticked - i'm stressing as seems they've not yet fully processed the application, what with not having hard searches done.

    DIP: 13/7
    App: 16/7
