Congratulations! That's a good start to the week, hopefully more to follow! How long did your application take? We had to provide another document on Thursday so I think we're looking at the end of the week for our next update.

Thank you! It's a big relief. It took about a month all told, via a broker. There were a few follow up requests for bank statements etc and the turnaround is about 6 working days for documents to be reviewed. We had our valuation on Friday and an offer today!

So I think everything is OK, but Nationwide have told us there has been an IT issue so our ID hadn't been verified and that's what has held everything up. They've fixed it now but have said now it needs to be reviewed it might take untill Friday 😒 Broker has been in to them today to try and get it done sooner as it's their error. But crawling to the finish line.

    Morning All!
Great to see so many of your cases and congratulation on all your nw homes!
New to the thread here, Me and my wife buying our first home this year!
    Here's our current timeline...
19th April - DIP from Kensington (shocking rate due to my defaults and previous DMP)
    27th April - 1st Viewing (OTM at £195,000)
    28th April - Offer £187,500 Submitted (Declined) / Offer £190,000 Submitted (Declined)
    29th April - 2nd Viewing / Offer Re-Submitted £190,000 (Accepted) / Solicitor Instructed
Our solicitor recommended a IMA who highly suggested that we take out the Mortgage solely in my wife's name, She's got excellent credit score (900+), no default, credit cards, loads etc.
6th May - Nationwide DIP Referred pending ID's, payslips, bank statements & deposit proof
7th May - Nationwide DIP Accepted
    Tomorrow - Nationwide Full Application
To add to the fun we had a call last week that the seller is no longer buying on and moving in with her daughter instead #ChainFree lol
My wife is super anxious that we won't get an offer so fingers and toes crossed that everything goes smoothly.
Any information that would be helpful on the process would be greatly appreciated at this time!
    Thanks :-)
