Thank you, I guess it will probably be a few more days before a hard check going by others timelines.
My broker thinks we should hear tomorrow whether the valuation was ok. 🤞

Had another text from Nationwide a little while ago confirming valuation report received. Updated timeline:
19th April - broker scored the application and it passed (DIP?)
19th April - soft search by Nationwide on Experian (ID check) and Transunion (quotation search)
20th April - full application submitted
20th April - text message received to say valuation booked for 22nd April
22nd April - text message received to say valuation report received and awaiting review
Hoping we'll hear tomorrow if it's satisfactory.0 -
Question in nationwide valuation.
my buyer is with nationwide, did all your valuations involve an in person house valuation. I have been sale agreed for three weeks now and haven’t had anyone come to do a survey.0 -
Ummm our valuation was booked for 14th 8 days ago, but haven't had any text to say it had been received or reviewed 🤔 but have had hard credit check so assume its been to the underwriters, Would have thought valuation would have been done by now.wishinghome said:Had another text from Nationwide a little while ago confirming valuation report received. @Bessant31 yes usually the surveyor sends the valuation to NW within 48 hours of the appraisal so I'm sure its all done. Can your broker check the status for you?0
-
@Redwino222 if the buyer hasn't opted for a homebuyers report, you won't necessarily know the valuation has been done. A basic survey is a drive past the house and price comparison checks with other houses sold in the area. Your estate agents can call the buyer for an update for you.0

I don't know actually. We're planning on booking a full structural survey once we have a mortgage offer so NW are just doing a valuation.Redwino222 said:Question in nationwide valuation.

I'm assuming it was a desktop valuation as I received the message to say it had been booked only 40 mins after the mortgage application was submitted which doesn't seem long enough for NW to have instructed the valuation and the surveyor to have spoken to the agent to arrange a time for a physical valuation. I'm expecting to hear from my broker whether it was satisfactory so I'll ask when I speak to him.

Yeah that's weird I would have thought you'd have heard back about the valuation by now. Have you applied through a broker? If yes I'd contact them to see if they can get an update or contact NW directly maybe.Bessant31 said:

Yeah we did, might ask nationwide directly, everyone else seem to have had texts when done and reviewed and in shorter time frame, they say 6 days for evaluation.wishinghome said:
