@Mgars93 After much debate and googling we’ve decided to say yes. NW have just told us offer should be with us by end of this week. I’m drained!!!! Yay for you though. Are you feeling lighter?
That’s good news then!! Been a positive day for both of us (albeit yours is a little delayed) but the painful wait is finally over.

I do feel lighter, however we’ve now got exchange and a wait to go until completion so I won’t relax until they’ve handed us the keys 😂

@Mgars93 I’m a pessimist so I’ll feel elated only once we have the offer. The first night we’re in there; that’s when I’ll breathe that sigh of relief 😂

You can spend your time planning how rooms are gonna look now 🙂
  • @Mgars93 just a quick update. Got our texts at 18.53 this evening with mortgage offer! Absolutely delighted 😀 my advice to anyone is never think you don’t have to chase even if you have a broker. I phoned nationwide every single day multiple times and we got our offer within 4 working days. Tsb made us wait 7 weeks and didn’t go ahead. We didn’t chase once ourselves.
  • Hi all,
New to the forum and been reading through this thread with interest as I have an application in progress.
For requested documents, how are people sending them over? I emailed them through yesterday but they are still showing in "documents outstanding" when checking the application summary through online banking.

My timeline is roughly as follows:
    13/01 - DIP
14/01 - Full application sent off
15/01 - Credit search on Equifax
18/01 - Survey booked and completed

    Cheers

Hello I assume you are going direct not through a broker?

I would definitely phone nationwide and ask them but can you not upload documents when you log in to track your application?

    Hi,
Going direct through Nationwide - there was no option to upload documents that I could see, the only options were to post, go to a branch, or email. Went with what I thought would be the quickest route.

Hey! We sent the docs to the email address they provided. It then said that they’d been received but they have to be added to your application manually (by a human) so it’s not instant.

You can check their timescales here. We’ve found that they are slightly quicker than the times stated. https://www.nationwide-intermediary.co.uk/placing-business/service-updates

Yesterday I was told via phone valuation report due to be reviewed today, today on chat they seem to think it's not showing as received! Hmmm!
