Messaged webchat today, and this was their answer:
"Having looked, it appears we're still verifying your documents and this has been passed to our dedicated team for assessment on the 17th November. That process should take 5-10 working days, and we'll update you on that once that's been processed."

So, should I get a decision between 24 Nov - 1 Dec or is that when it will be passed to underwriters? Confusing...
I got the same message, the latest I will know is the 1 December.
Not going to stop me messaging everyday, they said that the difference in timescales depends on the individual applications and circumstances 😔

  • We’ve managed to renegotiate price. So now our application has been amended to reflect new purchase price and the amount we will now be borrowing.  Back to the stress of waiting. I’m hoping we can complete ASAP and get in the house before Christmas. Anyone know how long after an amendment after a down valuation an offer takes?

That’s great news though that you’ve managed to negotiate a new price! 😃

We had our valuation on Wednesday so I’m hoping to hear something next week 🤞🏻

Think they're working Saturday's. I got a text last Saturday about our valuation. So we're awaiting a decision now, was hoping to hear today but so far nothing.

Has anyone noticed on the Nationwide intermediaries website that they’ve added onto the waiting times “post offer assessment”

Anyone know what that actually means?

I actually don’t, but I’m tempted to ask the webchat service...
