We’ve had the same this week as well. 

Broker said they’d received everything and it’s gone for the final checks. 

He said we should get an update next week. I’m not holding out any hope for next week (week 7 by that stage) but at least I know where it’s up to. 

Even though I’m on tenterhooks! 😬

So we recieved the offer issued text this morning after 15 working days we’re over the moon, does anyone know how long it will take for the letter to come through the post? Also good luck to everyone hope everyone recieved positive news soon

We had our text of offer confirmed on the 19th and took about 3 working days for us to get our copy through the post and about 5 for our solicitor to get theirs.

Hi everyone,
I have been a lurker and wanted to share my timeline.
Submitted application on 16/10
Valuation booked on the 19/10 for the 30/10
Hard check on 27/10
Text received from nationwide that they have received valuation on 30/10 at 15.40.
Mortgage offer recieved same minute.
I feel like it is area dependent maybe, we live east of England. Our broker was amazing and made sure he checked all their TandCs to get all documents they needed or might need to send with the application and in his own word said he wanted to include everything so they had no reason to come asking for more information lol. Goodluck everyone that is waiting and congrats to those that has got their offer so far x

Congrats to all that have received your offers.
I wonder why some offers are being received so quickly and why others are taking so much longer? Anyone have any underwriter experience? As far as I know our application hasn’t been referred so why are we now going into week 6?? The longer it goes on the more I fear it’s going to be declined.

We are heading into week 9 ours wasn't referred, low loan to value both working no furlough, clean credit history and no debt. We have no explanation for why we have been kept waiting this long. Heres hoping we all  hear something this week!

I’ve received my offer today!! Very surprised to get the text on a weekend but it’s such a relief that it’s sorted. Next step, get the searches started!
I’ve mentioned a few dates previously but just to summarise in case it helps others:
FTB  60% LTV
12/10 Application
16/10 Valuation carried out and report received
21/10 Request for savings account statement

31/10 Offer received

I haven’t had any notification of a hard search on my credit files, but I am going to check them again just out of curiosity. I’ve banked with Nationwide for about 12 years so not sure if that makes a difference to whether they need the search?

I applied on the same day as you and also got my offer text this morning, so I wonder if they perhaps deal with them in batches?

Our application was submitted on 18/09, we’re 90% LTV but I’m gutted we’re going into week 7 now. 

I’m the same as you, the longer it goes on the more worried I’ll become. 

Just keeping everything crossed at the mo!
