Hi, FTB had this text yesterday:
Application 15/10
Valuation 28/10
Hi, Nationwide here. We've received the valuation report for your mortgage application. We'll review this and be in touch if we need anymore information.
I am told all standard by my MB, has anyone had an offer after this recently and if so what was the timeline?
Thanks0 -

I have been reading this thread for a while with growing trepidation. Here is my timeline:
AIP 2nd October
Offer accepted 9th October
Application submitted 26th October
Valuation requested 27th October
we have applied to port our mortgage, same amount, terms etc but to a house worth 510k vs our current property of 138k. So affordability and LTV is fine they say, (though since we first got our mortgage I have gone very part time, had two children, and my husband has had a significant pay rise) no other debts, no adverse markers, never missed a payment on anything. But we are moving in with my mum and she is gifting about 350k as they won’t allow three of us on the mortgage. They have all said verbally it will be fine but the threads I have searched on this, and my solicitor, have all said lots of lenders don’t like it. If we have to we can buy a cheaper house and go mortgage free but we all love this one! So fingers and toes all crossed!

also I also I forgot to say, because we are redeeming our mortgage and changing address before we complete on the new purchase, we have to go through a manual application process, and the (lovely and helpful) mortgage advisor said it was taking six weeks for applications to go through and it will be seven days before the valuation is booked!0
