alex864 said:Hey all just a question, do my valuation has been sent to the lender yesterday ( confirmed by the surveyor and also confirmed that he valued the property at the same price as I offered). I have reached out to NW and they said “everything looks fine on our ends” and the review of the valuation was scheduled by 4PM today. What are the next steps now until the offer is issued? I already had the hard credit search on both Equifax and Transunion and nothing else was requested. I know I’m being a bit impatient but I’m curious what else needs to be done 😁If it was a valuation booked by the lender I think if it was an in person valuation can take up to 5 working days to review the report, assuming you’ve had all your documents reviewed and accepted on that then you should get the offer soon after the valuation is analysed. If it was desktop people get their results almost straight awayFirst time buyer (FTB) - 90% Loan to value (LTV)
Nationwide Application01/09 - confirmation of application being received
11/09 - Alert from Clear Score of hard check being carried out
25/09 - Spoke with Nationwide via 'web chat' box on their website and they confirmed our documents hadn't been reviewed yet
27/10 - request for payslips (even though they were provided to our broker at the beginning of the application)
31/10 - Mortgage appointment with Barclays to explore Springboard mortgage options0 -

It’s just that “everything is fine on our ends” response from NW and my MB saying “it would seem that all the other documents have been approved” making me wonder is everything okay or they haven’t even looked? I submitted the application in 13th October.0 -

FTB here, going through a nationwide mortgage and hope it goes smoothly...
90% LTV - could have borrowed more but settled for 81% of affordability, sent all payslips, 3 month bank statements, LISA proof and ID to broker.
12/10/2020 - application submitted
14/10/2020 - valuation booked for 16th October 2020.
Heard nothing since off nationwide through communication channels but through live chat have said that we are having document checked and now has gone to mortgage consultant? Query if this is the underwriter, said we should know in 24 hours but that has since come and gone...
hope you all get your offers through 🙂 will keep you updated.
So new timeline - As i can't set up a signature
12/10/2020 - Application submitted
14/10/2020 - Valuation booked for 16th October 2020
21/10/2020 - Hard search done on file.
28/10/2020 - Request made for LISA statement
Haven’t had notification of a hard search yet, which I feel like is the next key milestone. Fingers crossed I get that this week as I hate the weekends knowing I’ll definitely hear nothing.
Did you hear anything about your valuation? I got a text the evening of the valuation (a week and a half ago) to say they’d received the report and their email said they’d review it “in the next couple of days” but I’ve heard nothing since. Wish I could hear back on that so at least it’s one less hurdle to worry about!0 -

that’s spooky isn’t it, I never had an update from nationwide about the valuation being received but through their live chat, they did inform me that it had and the price was agreed with my purchase price, however I await to receive the approve notification from them. I would recommend the live chat option, they are good, a little inconsistent by good none the less.My hard search was noted on credit karma, they are really good and show you the details of it all.My broker seems to think that it will be a couple of days now but we should hear more from Nationwide soon? Just hope it’s not too long.
I will you all the best with your house purchase and please keep up informed, we are all in this together 😊1 -

I was also 'declined' but this actually means being passed on to a second assessor I think? that'd the impression I got because my case has been put to underwriters again but a different lot of people. Mine was declined because the underwriters apparently (according to my broker) wrote my salary to be lower than it is that has been proven in payslips/p60s. Hopefully we get a valuation soon too then! we're a month ahead of you and really am losing it
My mortgage consultant phoned me yesterday to say I'd been declined. It had already been "referred" to the underwriter, is that what you mean by declined? On the website it says the following:I reckon its a glitch in their system as the case has been cancelled according to that. Its disgusting the way they treat people.
