  • No, the only contact we had from Nationwide after the broker submitted was to say the valuation was booked; until today! Surprisingly straight forward - just a painful wait!
  • Hey just joining the club. Mortgage application submitted today and having read through the last few pages I’m dreading it! Some of you have had really long waits so I’m hoping I’m a bit luckier as I don’t think my nerves could take it (FTB too just to add to the worry!).

I had a confirmation text this morning about the application submission then another text this afternoon saying the valuation is booked for Friday, so hopefully a good sign that there’s some initial progress.

    Good luck everyone who’s waiting!

Mortgage offer issued! I could cry.... haha! 43 working days and over two months since the application submitted. We can now get excited about the next steps!

Hoping it goes fairly swiftly, if I'm honest despite the delays seeing similar experiences in this thread has reassured me slightly through the process that it isn't something particular to my application - not sure what I'd have been thinking otherwise!

Getting the valuation early on should help you out I imagine, I'm on working day 42 and still no sign of it yet!

EA emailed to say vendor is wondering what's going on.. first thing I've really heard from them since the application went in other than a couple of emails I sent to say I still existed. I really hope NW deliver soon.

Just asked MB for an update. They spoke to Nationwide and been advised we should hear something by early next week. I dont understand how it can take at least 13 days to review one bank statement. Their process is just a joke.
