First contact from mortgage consultant yesterday to say the underwriters are saying that they have only have 2m bank statements. Mortgage consultant told them they were lying and indeed had 3m. Oh yes, so we do... No further action required, continue to wait...0

At what point do you sack off Nationwide as incapable of providing the service promised and ask them to remove the hard search? Only stopped with them to save on the £900.00 early repayment fee on my previous mortgage. At 34 working days in and imminently losing the property we offered on I don't think it's worth it. Took a risk and paid for all the searches etc and solicitors fees will be mounting in the background on what could still be a no just to appease vendor and estate agents.0

Nationwide certainly take the shine out of buying a new house. WD 30 today, getting fed up now, don't care any more if we are accepted or not. I've also noticed that the average waiting time from app to offer has gone down to 20 days.
They shouldn't be allowed to mess with peoples lifes like this.40% LTV0
