Silly me tried the online chat again. Again no luck. Said I wanted to formally complain given that it's been 3.5 months since I applied etc etc. . Typed it all out as instructed. But then they said nothing would happen with it as it wasn't a real complaint as they had loads of applications. Grrrr!
Had anyone out there received flat roof insulation vouchers?

No - that’s what I’m waiting for. 3.5 months and counting!
Had anyone out there received flat roof insulation vouchers?I did send an email to the Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy who are responsible for this scheme. I wanted to highlight what a total shambles the scheme is. Haven’t had a reply apart from an acknowledgment- won’t hold my breath!1 -
Flat roof here too, only thing I've heard was the xmas eve email.1

I also emailed them but only had the same auto response. I also emailed Sarah Munby.mpet said:

So after complaining to them by email about having sent them everything they asked for and more, and them sending me emails saying someone will call within 5 days, and they never do, I get this :

This is really making me want to tear my hair out now. I havent appealed! There was never any talk of appeal, I just sent them what they asked for and complained that it was a shambles. I feel like they might throw out my application now after months of wasted time

Hopefully you actually get someone sensible reading your case and sorting it out. 🤞 They don't throw it out. If they do then the same will happen here for me as I've complained several time any email and live chat already 🤷♀️delmonta said:So after complaining to them by email about having sent them everything they asked for and more, and them sending me emails saying someone will call within 5 days, and they never do, I get this :Thank you for contacting the Green Homes Grant Scheme.

Yeah honestly I'd be careful about complaining too much! I did and then suddenly I'm getting an email talking about my appeal and having to wait 10 days. I never made a formal complaint, just responded to their useless emails quite harshlyPurpleboots said:

I spoke to a woman yesterday and she got quite impatient with me as I was getting so impatient! It was basically an argument. I said I know its not her fault, but when she said yet again 'wait 5 days and someone will call you, I've escalated it' I wanted to scream at her. I've been told that 3 times over the last month, nobody ever called!
So now I think all I can do is wait, and pray. They have tested my sanity!1 -
I wonder about using twitter to complain. I'll give it one more week then try that. I say one more week as yet again I've been assured by email today that my application has been 'escalated and will be reviewed as a matter of urgency'. I'm not holding my breath.delmonta said:

If we have just moved into a home can this scheme be used or do you have to live at the address for a while?0
-
I’ve just phoned (again) and was told she could see all the extra stuff I’d sent in and that it was “with the audit team to see if I would get a voucher”. Also to wait 2 weeks. I’m sure it’s been at least 2 weeks since I sent the last of the paperwork in!1
