As long all your documents and emails are uploaded on your record/case and you can ask for them to confirm, they can also confirm which criteria checks they have done and which are outstanding, if you get this confirmation, I would be patient and wait when its your turn for your case to progress. I would not reapply as this will makes things worse!1

Went on GHG web-chat to ask if they had received my previous emails - during the conversation I was hit with a bombshell !!!
GHG Webchat Advisor stated that - their are multiple errors on your application eg installer has not put your full name on quote - your installer has quoted for CWI, however they have not stated for how many walls - only the area to be covered, your installer has not broken down the costings to our satisfaction, etc.
You will now need to RE-APPLY due to multiple errors in your application. !!!!!!
So two and a half months later - a simple enquiry and it’s come to this. Pathetic !!!
I said I could provide GHG with updated quotes covering the above - he said it’s not possible as their are multiple errors and my application would progress no further and if I wanted to take advantage of the GHG - I would need to re-apply and that our webchat conversation stating that , I needed to re-apply - would be logged onto the GHG system.
SO here I am 2.5 months later - I bent over backwards - jumped through Hoops - hours of stressing, if I had given them all the information they required now back to square one.
The GHG Advisor I spoke to today - was truly are heartless Bas***d !!
Apologies to those that are easily offended.
GHG rely on the fact that they Do Not have a complaints procedure and that applicants have no re-course when things go wrong - to do as they please !!
Rant Over !!
Good luck to everyone that succeeds.

sorryitsme said:After receiving an email on Christmas Eve about my double glazing quote being too high, l received another one yesterday night saying my flat roof insulation is too high and my supplier isn’t registered to install it! I haven’t even got a flat roof but a pitched one and my installer is registered and has already received vouchers for other customers for roofs.
The supplier sent me a response which l have forwarded on so hopefully they look into it as it’s starting to get silly. They then advised me l would need to reapply as l selected flat roof instead of pitched. I replied l do not recall doing that and even if that was the case could they amend the application as the price, area, products remain the same. I was told they couldn’t amend applications and must reapply.I responded that’s untrue as they previously amended my application before with a product. They still said reapply. I said l wanted to make a complaint to be told they cannot tell me when l would be contacted about my complaint. I said you must have a procedure with a timeframe..... I am still waiting for an answer!
Its unfair that just near the voucher issuing stage they want you to reapply after, land registry, credit checks etc have been done.
I sent a complaint email and so did my supplier, we both got emails back saying reapply, then this evening l got an apology email 😱 saying l was incorrectly advised that my application couldn’t be amended. Time will tell if they now issue the voucher.......Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!

And That right there - tells you everything you need to know about the GHG !!0 -
If you reapply then you have effectively cancelled, your old claim disappears, and their performance metrics look better. At present it can be claimed they are useless, but if you get rid of your 3 month application and start again they can pretend they turned it around much faster. I suspect they have realised that we will soon hit the point all work had to be done by and they haven't processed the applications, and that is a statistic they'd rather avoid being made public.
So do not cancel and reapply, stick with it.0 -

Can’t say I’m surprised how bad this is turning out considering who we’ve got in charge but very frustrating nonetheless. What happened to having our own online portals by the end of November where we could amend our application? I applied within the first hour on the first day of it opening and still no voucher. Like others here, this week I got the email to say that my quote was too high (I don’t think it is) and that the company didn’t have the correct certification even though I filled out everything they asked for when I applied. Another “back of a fag packet” scheme.I’m pleased for all of those who have got their work done. Hopefully they’ll sort it out for the rest of us.1

Good luck to everyone that succeeds.please let us know if you re apply and get anywhere. I have read of people applying recently and getting their vouchers. Its as if the people who applied first got lost in some black hole0 -
All suppliers anywhere remotely near me have given up and are no longer participating despite being TrustMark approved due to the high fees and sheer quantity of admin involved. Some have explained that they would need further certification eg (PAS 2030:2017), which only larger companies tend to have. Local businesses have been very frustrated by the changes and red tape involved, and I have wasted much time with this futile effort.1
