No signatures just an invoice and some tick boxes. Which anyone could fill inJohnnyFish said:
I think you have to submit the invoice and voucher for payment to be made to the supplier. I guess your signature is neededdaz_75 said:Got my vouchers only applied a few weeks back.
My installer is asking for the vouchers to be sent to them which sounds weird to me as I guess they could just say they'd done the work. What do you reckon?0 -
Did you ask GHG , at what point do you forward your voucher on to your supplier?0

You can redeem the voucher when:
· the installation of the measure covered by the voucher has been completed satisfactorily.
· you have submitted a dated copy of your invoice, and you have received the necessary documents from your installer.
· you have paid the installer your contribution for the relevant measure. If you have a voucher under the low income scheme, you do not need to take this step.
· the installer has issued you with an invoice and given you the appropriate claim of conformity, scheme certificate, information and guarantee for your measure.
· where you have a voucher for a secondary measure, the value of the grant for that secondary measure is less than the value of the grant already paid out for primary measures.

I get the impression the first of us to apply didnt get our applications looked at first, so it seems people who applied more recently did. I called them early on and they were having all kinds of issues with the database and applications. I guess it doesnt always pay to be prepared

I had a similar experience, when I informed my supplier that my voucher had been approved they only asked for the Voucher number, I then enquired this with Green Home Grant Scheme which they they said that was OK to do.daz_75 said:
Yes I rang them and they said the supplier gets an email stating the voucher is approved. The company just rang me and said they need it to update their information and they wouldn't risk loosing their trust mark so no need to worry. And they cant do anything with the voucher. But I've just gone through the process to redeem the voucher and other than uploading invoices and some tick boxes there is nothing to stop anyone filling it in.Cb_man1 said:Well done Daz .
You could always ask Green Homes Grant the question.

Maybe I'm just being overly nervous

I was literally ready at 7.00am the day of the scheme went live and I just received my voucher last week Monday.delmonta said:I get the impression the first of us to apply didnt get our applications looked at first, so it seems people who applied more recently did. Really don't know what is their application process, two of my friends applied several weeks later after the scheme went live and they still waiting.1 -
Wow, just got a response to my application for external wall insulation!
They couldn't verify home ownership so they want proof in the form of a mortgage statement or property deed.
Also, the quote is higher than average so they want an explanation from the installer!

Happy Christmas all
, anyone here used greengrants4u.co.uk for a quote , they arranged a quote for solid wall insulation and loft insulation for my mum's property a 1930's semi. The quote they gave was
Loft Insulation £ 1,080.00External wall Insulation £ 8,850.00
Total : £ 9,930.00
I recently followed up and emailed customer@green-homes-grant.service.gov.uk for an update as original application applied was 12th November
I got the response belowupon review of your application, the quote you submitted for Loft insulation is higher than we would have expected based on average prices for work of this kind. There may be good reasons for this, such as a larger or more complex installation than usual, and you should ask your installer for a written explanation. To speed up processing your application, please provide us with your installer’s response and, if you are unsure, do seek an alternative quote.
Any advice should I follow up in the New Year with a New Installer quote (which has been impossible due to many failings as already seen on this forum) just don't want my mum to miss out
Thank you

I applied 1 month ago, just received that annoying response, my quote for solar thermal is higher than average, requested to ask the company for an explanation and to also provide two forms of ID. God knows why they need ID when I have been living in this house for 6 years, with all utility bills etc on my name!0

I received the same response about my windows quote being higher than expected. With the festive period I’m not likely to get a response from the window company until the new year.I thought it was a little odd That l received the email at 9.30 this evening.Mortgage Feb 2015 £178,500 END 2043!!
MFW 2015 £100 /£1000
Watch this space, my MF end date will tumble!!1
