New Green Homes Grant to give up to £5,000 in vouchers for insulation and double-glazing

Made application on first day for Park Home Insulation, today I have received an email asking that I prove I own my home before they can process my application. Two and a half months just to request this information, I could have provided it with the application if they needed it.

When did your submitted quote expire? Mine expired end Oct so I'm expecting a rejection email now based on other folk's experiences.  But yes I'm wondering if the flat roof insulation in tray hasn't been reviewed yet.

My quote expires in January. The rate they are going, I am fully expecting my quote to expire before I get a response to my application.

I have just been hit with the bombshell that apparently there's a limit on the value of the door you can install as your secondary measure. The green homes grant people can't tell me what the limit is and say if your quote is rejected, it can't be resubmitted. 

I didn't think this shambolic scheme could get any worse.  Is anyone aware of this?
I don't actually have a door quote yet as no one can be bothered to give me one but I want to make sure when I do eventually get a quote that it is 100% compliant before submitting

“ Shambolic Scheme” ??   - Be grateful @rajamn at least you’ve had your CWI and Loft Insulation completed.
most of us are just going around in circles - you where one of the lucky ones - so quit moaning -  at least you’ve had some work done.

Despite the fact I've had my work done, it's still shambolic.  Yes I'm very lucky but that doesn't take away from the fact that it has been badly thought out.  It's ridiculous that I'm even using the word 'lucky' - luck shouldn't be coming into it for anyone!

I won't. Nobody wants to sell me a door in my area 😂

No sign of flat roof insulation, and my door was expensive, so not looking promising! Heard nothing, the way things are I don't expect to.
