Good news, this morning at about 8.15 am we received the full mortgage offer from Halifax. 
We are so over the moon, and relieved as these are crazy times. @Watch3r i am sure yours will go through without any problem,.

My big bit of advice, be patient and good things will come.!

My Halifax application was submitted by our broker on June 29th. Both my partner and I have two hard searches and one soft search each on our credit report on that same day, and then another soft search the day after. Valuation was booked in for July 16th and our broker confirmed it had indeed taken place that day and had been agreed, so now we're just playing the waiting game. Our broker spoke to Halifax earlier this week for an update, and they told her there was an IT issue preventing valuations from that day triggering an offer - goodness knows if this is true or if they've used the most common excuse.

Can't be too much longer now, right??

As long as you have had your valuation report sent to you, i reckon any minute, hour or even day now you will receive yours.

As long as you have had your valuation report sent to you, i reckon any minute, hour or even day now you will receive yours. 

Well that's the thing, my broker has said the valuation has been "agreed", which I'm guessing means they agreed with the house price, but I haven't had a report sent to me yet, nor has my broker by the sounds of it.

How long was your wait between valuation and offer? Still waiting for our valuation to go through!!

This was my timeline:

25th June: ATP HTB approved. 
29th June: AIP and Full Application submitted. 
29th June: Two hard searches and 1 soft affordability search
14th July: Valuation booked in
16th July: Valuation Completed
16th July: Valuation Report - Comes back Fine. 
23rd July: Full Offer released. no need for Signature and valid for 6 Months.

Odd as I was calling them 20 min ago and they said no one showed up yet.
 So I was waiting 17 days for 10
min survey ...

I've been waiting at least 14 days for a desktop valuation by Barclays.... Apparently the final document the valuer needed was sent by my development this Monday so now just waiting to see how long it takes for them to actually do it. Keep us updated on when you get a decision as that will give me an idea of how long after the valuation I'll find out the decision.

I was told by MA it might take up to 5 working days for offer . But yeah I’ll let you know as soon as I have an update
