Just wondering if anybody received any unexpected conditions to their Halifax offer? I want to be prepared for the worst!0

Hi my partner applied via broker on Thursday with Halifax. 75% LTV, Halifax called my partner on Friday to confirm who the solicitor was and offer received this morning. Haven't seen the offer yet as MB said will send over once its been checked over. V quick process - 3 working days from application to offer however we are in Scotland so don't need to wait on valuation being done.0

Our solicitor sent 60 questions back to the sellers solicitor and we are awaiting those answer so they can create the final contract.0 -
@Girlisgettingthere Wow that is fast, I'm at 7 weeks FTB, joys of having to wait for a valuation.
Next time I buy, I may just sell and move to my parents - once that's all done I'll go live in Scotland!0 -
I know extremely fast! I wouldn't class his as a straight forward case considering he has v light adverse and the deposit is technically coming from both of us (equity from current home) and only him on the mortgage for new house. Seems too good to be true to be honest but after a decline from aldermore due to deposit situation we will take it! Fingers crossed you get yours soon and you can relax a bit. Its been stressful to say the least. Haha good plan 👌FTHophap said:@Girlisgettingthere Wow that is fast, I'm at 7 weeks FTB, joys of having to wait for a valuation.

Absolutely stunned but we’ve had our mortgage offer today subject to survey this Friday! So we have won our appeal with Halifax after they initially declined! Cannot believe it, we honestly didn’t think they would change their minds!0

We’ve submitted our full application today via our broker. It’s instantly booked a valuation for tomorrow. Is this a good sign?
were porting our current mortgage so it’s a top up mortgage.0
