Top half of the front page is enough.
Just need enough to relate your name and address to the vehicle.
All sorted, thanks. I am having an issue finding a contact email for CST Law so I can declare I am seeking debt advice but deny any debt etc, I want try and keep everything on email if possible (stops the chances of them saying they never received a letter).
I have looked through the paperwork and no mention of an email address, the same online. Do any of you guys know of one?
The letter before claim gives you 30 days so why respond so quickly.  As long as they receive your reply before that expires you are in time.
Then you tell them you are seeking debt advice and require 30 days for this. By law they must comply.
    You deny any debt
You ask them for their legal authority to claim £160 for a £100 parking ticket.  We have never seen a reply to this question from CST Law ?   For CST there is no answer so they will either reply with a fabrication which will be a lie.  They probably won't reply.

You are entitled to explain this to a judge showing your request and question the validity of the claim and the fact that a CST Law representative signed the claim as a statement of truth.
A fake statement of truth carries the penalty of contempt

Right now CST think you are a mug.  Judges don't like the game of mugging but some don't understand even when they are being mugged
Should this end up in court, you have a better chance of winning than CST but .... you must get a judge to understand the fakery of CSTLaw
  • Please can someone kindly help. I have received a letter before claim from CST Law. I paid for my parking but was over by 20 minutes. I stupidly replied to them and my appeal was refused. I stop responding to any letters after that.  Should I send a SAR to drp and what should I send to CST law. Or should I just pay the fine. I have till 30th of May to respond.  Many thanks for any help.

Does this letter give you 30 days to respond ?
You mention DRP, so on whose behalf are they claiming for
What is the name of the parking company
  • Thank you for replying yes letter says reply or pay within 30 days.  Received letter on 30th April 2021.  It is asking for payment to be made to debt recovery plus.
Letter before claim has come from cst law. It includes forms of financial to fill and and boxes of yes or no to tick as well.
  • payment is saying pay debt recovery plus. And claimant is smart parking ltd

Smart Parking have no significant track record of pursuing single car park charge tickets through the courts, but there's no guarantees. We believe that this is just a further ratcheting up of the debt collection process, rather than a firm intention to sue, but as the letter is headed 'Letter Before Claim' you need to treat it as such and deal with it as outlined in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

It is the parking company that holds all your data.

You have, no doubt, found their Data Protection Officer's email address for sending the SAR - dataprotectionofficer@creditstyle.co.uk.

Two other email addresses from their website are compliance@creditstyle.co.uk and info@creditstyle.co.uk

Do I need to send them a SAR also? I thought that went to the PPC. Cheers for that, all I could find was a form to fill out on their website.
Yes, you are right. Don't know why I mentioned their DPO's email address. Sorry.

@MancLad11 I'm in a similar situation ready to respond to CST Law LBC - did you send to Compliance and Info email addresses and did you receive any response/confirmation of receipt?
