Is there any point in responding on top of the email that I've sent that responds to the LBC which they have not replied back on (I responded last year October)? The LBC they are referring to in Feb was the second one they sent to me, they sent the first one in October 2024. As well as including the fact that I have disputed this to MK1 where they do not have proof of the rejection email that was allegedly sent to me?

Hi everyone,

I have been sent an LBC from CST Law on behalf of ParkDirect UK. I am not posting the specific letter but it is very similar to all the ones posted on here and is very clearly a letter before claim form stating I have 30 days to respond and specifically has reply forms that have specific tick options for 'I owe the debt' or 'I don't owe the debt' and asking me to include evidence etc, and a financial statement thing (that I will not be filling out obviously). I did appeal to them directly and it was rejected at the time, and didn't bother with IAS after that as per this forums advice.

I just wanted some advice on my specific situation and whether there's anything that I am missing

Summary:
I took my dog for a grooming appointment at x time, and returned 1 hour later to pick him up. This broke their '2 hour no return rule'. At the appointment, they typically ask for my car registration (there is a screen to input it there as well), and clearly within the system something has gone wrong resulting in my PCN.

The specific store were extremely unhelpful, I asked to speak to their manager who sort of said there's nothing they can do as the car park is managed by an external company. I don't know who else to contact as the customer service team online just redirect me to the local store.

Evidence I have:
- Online transaction receipt stating payment to said pet shop (groomers is attached to pet shop so receipt is not specifically to groomers per se)
- Appointment evidence (however this appointment evidence is for a different time as they called me on the day asking to drop my dog off earlier, but did not reflect this on the online booking system I have access to on my app).
- I managed to get the duty manager to sign a letter I drafted stating the appointment day and time, and that procedure was followed to the best of their knowledge. This letter is not dated though.

I have sent a SAR to the data protection team there, so will see if I get a response in time.

My questions are:
- Is it ok to just fill out CST Law's online contact us form or is there a specific email I can send it to (I can't seem to find this apologies if it's obvious on here) with the evidence I have, or should I reply by post with the 'I don't owe debt' reply forms too.

- Is there anything else I need to do except: SAR to the pet groomers, and reply to CST Law.

- What else can I do to make my defence better? I am a bit worried as I've never done this before and there are some issues with my evidence, and am slightly tempted to just pay the charge to avoid further anguish, but it just feels ridiculously unjust for me to pay this when it is so clearly unjustified.
