    Hello
How do I deal with this?
I haven't heard anything from Met Parking since I took the original fine into Macdonalds and the Manager told me he would get it cancelled.
How come I have now received this and nothing else?
I terrified I'm going to end up with a CCJ
You have a court claim and we don't know the date on it.  Please start your own thread asap!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Not denying the contravention took place HOWEVER I received a PCN in the post in April 2020 which from memory referred to something in 2019, which I paid £60 to make go away.
If you paid the 'discounted' amount after the 28 day 'offer' period, it won't have 'made it go away'. They are likely treating it as an unpaid PCN. Send the PPC a SAR to find out what they have about you.
And obviously DON'T throw good money after bad!  Should never have paid £60.  Ignore.
Yeah, I know, I was just naive and wanted no hassle, and before I knew about the scamdustry, and this being exactly what they trade off.

I've sent a SAR, hoping they have f***ed it off for Christmas now, so cuts their time down for a response. I'm about to do the deferral email too. I'm heading away on a honeymoon shortly so hopefully I won't hear from them while they !!!!!! about with that.

  • Hi,

I have recieved this LBC from CST/Smart parking. I have checked out all of the threads and spent hours reading through, but could somebody please clarify a couple of things for me please?

    1) I wasn't driving, my partner was, so am I best to send an email to CTS stating I was not the driver as per the newbies thread?: "Here's a robust example, for a case where you weren't driving and it's 'non-POFA':

If I do this, am I likely to hear again or will that be the end of it?

    2) Do I just send the other generic letter on the thread, asking for the dispute to be put on hold for 30 days whilst I seek debt advice?

    3) Do I need to submit an SAR to Smart Parking? an what do I do with it once I have it?

    3) Do I email Smart Parking Limited or CST Law? and does anybody have these email addresses? I only have the option to reply via letter or pay online. no email address is given on the letter.

Thank you for any help you can offer!

To which outfit are you asked to make payment (reverse side of letter?)?
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

@BloodyAnnoyed, why haven't started a new thread yet?

You are sleepwalking into that feared County Court Judgment.

So easy to win against that poorly pleaded Claim.
  • Hi,
I have received the attached letter. (Apologies for the poor photo quality).

Am I correct in saying this isn’t a real LBC and needs no response?
However, do I need to ask for a SAR? Who do I contact for that please? I read PPC, please excuse my ignorance, who are they? (I did try to search but couldn’t find a relevant response).

    Thanks in advance
  • It's not a Letter before Claim.

It's just CST rubbish again saying they are instructed by a circus clown called DRP

    JUST IGNORE
