If you've now got an actual claim, this is the time to open a new thread, because ongoing support could be detailed and there's a real danger that other posts relating to others joining this group thread will cause lots of confusion - something you don't want now you're at the business end of proceedings.RedRobin_23 said:Hello just an update on your last quote received a claim form dated 7 th may, issued by cst law for ukcps ltd . I'm now going to go through newbies thread to file the acknowledgement of service and then send defence to the court.0 -
Be good to see a copy of their claim so we can see how flawed it is ?RedRobin_23 said:Hello just an update on your last quote received a claim form dated 7 th may, issued by cst law for ukcps ltd . Hi Guys, I have what I believe to be a newer kind of LBC letter from CST Law that I received yesterday (19.05.21) chasing a payment for a from Euro Car Parks PCN from over 2 years ago now. I have attached images with the important parts redacted.
This is the first time in a long while I have had any letters regarding the issue. I have looked about on countless forums and the similar letters have the following "We are instructed by DRP, an agent of PPC" but this has "instructed by Euro Car Parks". I was about to pay it and be done with it, then I found this forum and the most latest posts.
I have read what some of you have said regarding it being another "debt recovery letter" and its just another criminal scare tactic. But, I just want to make sure I am okay ignoring this letter.
Background:
They don't know who the driver was and I have never responded to any previous letters (DRP, Zenith, CST).
Would really appreciate your input.
Cheers.

@MancLad11, that is a valid Letter Before Claim.
You should react to it as described in the first few paragraphs of the second post of the NEWBIES thread.3 -
Cheers for clarifying, I am currently drafting the SAR to send to Euro Car Parks, which part of my V5C do I need to attach, or is it every page of it?KeithP said:@MancLad11, that is a valid Letter Before Claim.

Top half of the front page is enough.MancLad11 said:

Just need enough to relate your name and address to the vehicle.2 -
All sorted, thanks. I am having an issue finding a contact email for CST Law so I can declare I am seeking debt advice but deny any debt etc, I want try and keep everything on email if possible (stops the chances of them saying they never received a letter).KeithP said:Top half of the front page is enough.

I have looked through the paperwork and no mention of an email address, the same online. Do any of you guys know of one?0 -
You have, no doubt, found their Data Protection Officer's email address for sending the SAR - dataprotectionofficer@creditstyle.co.uk.
Two other email addresses from their website are compliance@creditstyle.co.uk and info@creditstyle.co.uk

Do I need to send them a SAR also? I thought that went to the PPC. Cheers for that, all I could find was a form to fill out on their website.KeithP said:You have, no doubt, found their Data Protection Officer's email address for sending the SAR - dataprotectionofficer@creditstyle.co.uk.

Yes, you are right. Don't know why I mentioned their DPO's email address. Sorry.MancLad11 said:
