The normal scam add-ons from CST.

So sick of copy and paste scam letters from CST ... CREDIT STYLE
The problem with all these wannabees is they forget all about Google and the power of the internet
THEY ARE A VERY DAMAGED COMPANY

Just like all the dodgy so called legals, they end up on Trustpilot ...... worth reading
    https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.creditstyle.co.uk

There is one 5 star review ..... probably did that themselves,

I think that CST are CHICKENS
  • Hi there. I received this letter before claim from CST law and I'm not sure how to respond. I did read the thread for newbies, and found it to be very confusing. I understand I should send to the parking company an SAR, but I don't know where to go from there and the prospect of a court case is really very worrying, I wouldn't be able to go to a court case, I would rather just pay, but I think the fine is extortionate.
My situation differs from all I have seen posted here. I used a free car park, but I did
not realise you still had to get a ticket from the machine and display it. I was only there 15 minutes, on my way to take my mother for a fairly serious hospital appointment.

I appealed the ticket through both their own channel and through POPLA, both appeals were rejected. Then I continued to ignore them, and heard nothing from them for nearly three years. Then I get this letter last Friday, dated 29th of Dec, saying I have 30 days to appeal, and the consensus here is that I must respond, so I will, but how? I have none of the paperwork relating to any of this, it was such a long time ago, I wouldn't even know where to look for records. Obviously I want to dispute the debt and pay as little as possible, or preferably nothing at all. I have nothing but disdain for these people, can't stomach the thought of giving them a single penny more than I need to. Thanks for reading and thanks for any help. Sorry if I posted this in the wrong place, I am a noob and I did read other threads first.

I have included a pic of the opening page of the letters and the options they have given me to reply. Thanks again in advance for anyone willing to help out

Same as almost everyone on this thread has received. Have you read all 27 pages of this thread, because everything that could be advised has been advised? We are totally exhausted by CST cases that are going nowhere until they go somewhere ..... and we haven't seen one go anywhere yet!
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I've read six different threads regarding six different CST claim letters, and some (not all) of the 27 pages in this thread, and none of them related to my personal situation in that I didn't ignore the first letters, I went through two appeals and was rejected on both of those. I understand there are rules, but I do believe this is the place to post CST claim letters, so I'm not sure I've done anything wrong. Sorry you are all exhausted with reading them, but as far as I could tell, this was the place to ask for help for this situation. Sorry for the inconvenience.

You are now in the right thread.   CST are scamming you and UKPC are clearly very desperate right now with these old tickets

Regardless of the circumstances, there isn't anything much you/we can do unless/until you receive a formal court claim from the Northampton CCBC. Then come back on a bespoke thread of your own for help with that. It's what we are telling everyone, that regardless of circumstances, we haven't seen one CST case for a single ticket go any further. If yours is the first to get to court, you'll get all the help you need. Not sure how better to dress this up so you're not feeling too delicate about it.
Sorry you are all exhausted with reading them
We're not exhausted reading them, it's in trying to give definitive replies to those relentlessly asking the same questions, yet seeking different answers.

I think you have done the right thing by posting on this thread and I am pretty sure @Umkomaas thinks so too.

The point is that practically everything that can be said about that letter you have received has already been said on this thread.

For example, the first reply on this thread should've reduced your anxiety...
CSTs current form appears to be:
Issue LBCs for multiple tickets then issue a claim
Issue LBCs for single tickets but then no claim.
I see that @BrownTrout has repeated something similar on the second page too.

Several times on every page of this thread it is stated that upon receiving a Letter of Claim from CST one should respond denying the debt but nevertheless stating that you are seeking debt advice so delay things by thirty days.

Sending a Subject Access Request is also suggested time and time again.

Your case is not unique. Please just read this thread and follow the guidance given.

Of course ask questions whenever you feel the need, but it would be good if you could look back at this thread first to see if your question has already been answered.

If, and it is a big if, you ever get a County Court Claim drop through your letterbox, then that is the time to start a new thread to discuss exactly how to tackle your specific case.
  • Hi All, Newbie here so please be kind as I know you are probably fed up with CST Law letters before claim.

I hope you do not mind  but I have received a letter before claim from CST Law instructed by the PPC.

I have been trawling through the posts for the last few days as to how to deal with it and am feeling very overwhelmed and a little confused as to how to respond to them. Do I email CST Law or write to them in the post?

A SAR request will be sent to the PPC. I notice that on the reverse of the LBC that it asks for payment to be made to Debt Recovery Plus. Does this mean that CST Law do not actually own the debt?

The original PCN involved incorrect display of a Blue Badge in a free, unlimited time, retail car park. Appeal was lost even though the original Blue Badge was copied and forwarded to the PPC. The landowner CEO was emailed to get the PCN cancelled but no response was ever received.

I can supply you with a copy of the letter from CST Law and the original PCN if you need to verify them.

Apologies in advance for disturbing you all if you are unable to help. I am very worried about being taken to court but am prepared to defend this case.

Thank you in advance to anyone who can help.

Have you read the entirety of this thread, because it seems to me that every question you are asking has been answered already. Come back if there's anything missing.
