How will my case hold up in court though.Depends how well you defend it. Only a Judge can tell you the answer to your question after he/she has seen all the evidence from both sides. If they are going to claim id say they will do it soon.Even if the do file soon (and we haven't seen one yet, even though this thread is now 6 months old), it will be petty much next Christmas before anyone gets to a hearing. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

CST going to court ? not with their pathetic understanding.
As I have said, they are mug hunting and I suspect the word is out for the PPC's that CST offer a free chase up service ...... which parking company would turn down that offer

CST Law are after me for parking in an industrial estate several years ago, photos on UKPC website show their signage outside of the area I was parked and their awful photos are so illegible it would be impossible to see the sign from where my car was. Not sure if there has been an error on UKPC/CST Laws part or they're just trying it on. SAR sent to UKPC so will wait and see

Yours isn't the same place (Barking, Essex) as the person who won in court last week, is it? UKPC were issuing PCNs outside of their authorised area and the OP is now making various complaints and taking it to the national and local papers:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6082739/pcn-s-ukpc-court-claim-form-won/p1
To be clear, that wasn't a CST Law claim. UKPC have always used SCS Law for these useless cases.
And to the person worrying about being somewhere 12 minutes. The BPA CoP grace period is a MINIMUM not a ceiling, and you are entitled to time to drive in and find a space as well and most Judges will certainly throw out cases just like yours, because you did not enter into a parking contract. We've seen it time and again. Judges are human and they listen to the facts and will consider fairness.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Hi Guys,
I have received a Letter Before Claim from CST Law for 2 PCN's from 2017 (Not in Scotland). The parking company is UKPC and they are shown as the Claimant. I wont go in to detail about the case as that will probably be more appropriate should it go further than this. I have read the NEWBIES thread and this one to a fair extent but have a few questions. I apologise if I go over something that I have missed on here. I have sent an email complaint to the land owners so I will wait to see if I get any kind of response. I have an SAR request ready to send to UKPC's DPO and an email ready to send to CST LAW quoting debt advice and double recovery which I fashioned after reading example ones posted on here. My Questions are:- With the SAR request should I just focus on the 2 PCN's named in the claim or ask for a list of all PCN's they have against me?
- If I am asking for a list of all PCN's against me do I also ask for all data and evidence relating to all of them?
- With the email to CST LAW should I include the evidence for my defence? Should I also ask for their evidence? or is that more appropriate if there is ever a court date?
- There is no break down of costs on the LBC at all. Should I ask for this to see if they can justify it?
- The LBC gives me 30 days to respond. Do I wait until towards the end of the response time or email them now?

As I've said all along, this is more likely to be DRP instigated frightener than UKPC. UKPC won't be too bothered, especially if it generates a few shekels for them, but their solicitors for dealing with private parking court cases are SCS, not CST.Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. 2. Only personal data, you won't get copies of contracts or signage, don't waste time asking for those.3. No, you're not at that stage.4. Pointless at this stage.5. Leave it until later, especially if you're asking for a 30-day delay for seeking 'debt advice' - kicks the can much further down the road. Respond using the advice in the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, on how to deal with a LBC.There's no further advice other than to keep reading the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post, which covers the entire court process ..... and await a real claim coming through - if it ever does, then start your own thread. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. As said above UKPC normally use SCS but after the recent destruction of UKPC using SCS as their legal, who knows what the UKPC desperation ploy is now
UKPC will know how stupid and pointless DRP are, so now their wheeze is to use the cousin of DRP being CST to send out junk letters and adding fake amounts.
As we keep saying, we have yet to see a CST case
How stupid for CST sending a letter before claim for UKPC and then telling you to pay DRP
All CST have done is prove to everyone how entrenched they are in the scam. FOOLS
Would CST win in court ? VERY VERY DOUBTFUL ....... more so they will cost their so called client money.
Any old fool and his dog can send out an LBA adding fake amounts it's whether they have the guts to continue

Two letters received, one yesterday, one today.
Emailed DPO at PPC twice for SAR.
Emailed CST Law on info@creditstyle.co.uk twice, informing of seeking debt advice and asking for 30-day hold on both LBCs.
Also emailed venue ownership about this, who seems happy to get this resolved for me.
Any advice on my next steps to take?0
