Website/tracker says they are looking at cases sent to underwriting queue on 7th oct. How do you know if your application was sent on what date? 

Is the date to underwriter same as the date you got confirmation email your application has been received? I am wondering that as well.

No sadly! We had our text on the 18th and went to UW on the 26th. When we applied though it was taking them over a week to do initial assessments on new applications, so it took a while to get into the queue. The dates for them looking at new applications is a lot quicker now though, I think people who applied end of Oct/Nov might be seeing a faster timeline than those that applied before then.

Nope. We applied on the 17th October,  the UW queue for SE is huge!!! We’re expected to get to the front of it at the end of this month.....I’m ripping my hair out already and we’re only just coming up to 3.5 weeks since we applied

We applied on the 12th and still haven’t heard anything. Our valuation was done on the 23rd too.

We applied 13/10, valuation back Tuesday and a question on Thursday....and now waiting again 🙈

We haven’t even had the results of our valuation yet! Was nearly 3 weeks ago

We are not SE, but applied on 15/10, query and 28/10 and no news since, not even about valuation. Checked with MB or Thursday and apparently we are at the “mortgage centre”, whatever that is, and can expect an offer any day. We are patiently waiting!

We got asked another question today (Applied 21/9). Santander will have now had three letters from my employer to say my job is secure, so frustrating!
