I was told this and offer came that afternoonBigD74 said:We just heard from our MB, who mentioned it is with their “mortgage centre” and we can expect an offer any day. Has anybody heard of this centre before?
Our application went in on 15/10, we had a query on 28/10 and was supposed to be in the underwriter queue. No word on valuation or anything yet, but it’s a new build of a type that are replicated a lot in the estate.1 -
It makes sense for them to start taking it at initial application/assessment, means they can sift the applications as they come in and decide there and then if they feel the post Covid income is acceptable and in line with 19/20 tax returns etc. Would save applicants and their UWs so much time!!!mowgliisaG said:I asked my MB and was told this is for applications after the 8th..any before this may not need the above0 -
Yeah agree...but this suggests those before this date would t need that evidence...Meh123 said:

No we don't, not as standard anyway. Some people have been asked and some haven’t. But from the 8th it’ll go in with the application. Feel bad for the people about to put applications in with the goal posts being moved about a bit!mowgliisaG said:Yeah agree...but this suggests those before this date would t need that evidence...0 -
5.5 weeks in both SE, not effected by covid, business has actually grown through covid. Supposed to get an update today. But don’t want to get my hopes up. It’s so hard though. This is actually our 2nd mortgage application so been doing this for 17 weeks now.0

Santander mortgage timeline nightmare.. one employed, one SE, 5 weeks in. This is second try after rogue FA didn't put in previous application wih a different bank despite claiming that application was in final stages of being approved. 16 weeks so far. All conveyancing was complete many months ago. Other side has already had their mortgage offer for 3 months..
