That’s extremely quick. I’ve read on here that some people don’t get any text at all after application until the offer is issued.misscaraxo said:It seems very sporadic when valuations are booked from what people have said. We applied today and got a text saying they have organised the valuation. I wonder if that’s a good sign?0 -
Mortgage centre just sounds like a prettier way of saying underwriters to me. Whatever it is how great that you got to that stage so quick! Our app only went in a couple of days after you and we’ve been told it won’t be seen till end of the month! Hopefully you’ll get your offer by the end of the week and can sit back and relax!BigD74 said:We just heard from our MB, who mentioned it is with their “mortgage centre” and we can expect an offer any day. Has anybody heard of this centre before?
Our application went in on 15/10, we had a query on 28/10 and was supposed to be in the underwriter queue. No word on valuation or anything yet, but it’s a new build of a type that are replicated a lot in the estate.1 -
It depends on a couple of variables, we had a desktop one the day after application but due to him being SE we’re in the ‘complex’ queue.misscaraxo said:It seems very sporadic when valuations are booked from what people have said. If you’re employed with no furlough involved then they tend to be going through a lot quicker as those applications seem to be going into a different much quicker queue . Hope that helps.0 -

It’s not booked until 13th November mind you so still a big wait ahead I think!0 -
I think when it goes to the mortgage centre it means its been approved subject to valuation, ours was passed to them once we'd been told our mortgage was approved so fingers crossed!Meh123 said:

That’s really frustrating for you. Seems unfair for there to be separate queues! We are both full-time employed. I work for the NHS and his workplace is all online so no furlough... we’ll have to wait and see, hopefully the valuation being booked will keep our developers happy for a while!Meh123 said:

Ahhh that sounds very positive for you guys then!! Due to Covid and the stamp duty break in England the queues are just bonkers for SE and other more complex cases....our application went in 3 weeks ago on Saturday, it would be really nice to have it all wrapped up at the end of the month, but we’re prepping ourselves for it to be December!misscaraxo said:That’s really frustrating for you. Interesting to see this as I thought this was already standard for all applications since the first lockdown...1 -
Me too, Our MB has all that already.mowgliisaG said:Interesting to see this as I thought this was already standard for all applications since the first lockdown...
Maybe they’re trying to save some time at UW stage by requesting the docs upfront, I suppose it stops the back and forth with questions once you finally get to the end of the elusive queue 😂0 -
My husband said the same we’ve already submitted all of this. Also our application went in on 1/10mowgliisaG said:
