Check your credit report and see if they've done a hard search yet or see if the date was after you were added on the register. I like checkmyfile, it showed the identity search and application search separately. I'm sure it should be easy enough to prove you're on the register now so I wouldnt worry.  Have you had any updates this week. I really feel for you!

No updates, apart from they haven’t asked for anymore documents after 1 week of it being in the underwriter queue. In the past they have always asked for other documents. This wait really is horrendous.

Finally got some news on Friday…

Valuation booked for 15th August! Hoping to also get some news regarding the application that week, but I’m not holding my breath! Also worrying about a down valuation.

We've just received an email from Santander stating they've issued an offer. We should received it in the post soon. Our broker is working with the solicitors on next steps

Timeline:

Application submitted on 6th July
Passed to underwriters on 25th July
Presential valuation was done on the 26th
Offer today

You just get an email saying the offer has been issued, it then follows by post 👍

Still waiting on a copy of our offer through the post, thats nearly another week. Our solicitor needs to wait for it before we sign our paperwork even though we have an email copy.
What a long drawn out process this has been.
Any updates for anyone else?

We got our offer through our broker on the day we submitted the full application and it came through in the post about 4 days later. 

We’ve just exchanged and currently just so nervous now that they will pull the offer and we lose everything. 

Has anyone else completed recently? Did they do any further credit checks after exchange/just before completion?

Congrats! Why are you worried about other checks, are you expecting changes before you exchange?
