Yesterday I spoke to the broker who had been updated that Santander was delayed even further then before , and originally we were given the deadline that they had to issue the offer by Friday and now that’s changed to Tuesday.Nuri123 said:

Here are my timelines. I read in previous messages that it goes from underwriting to valuation but it seems the other way around for me?

Looks as though yours is a desktop valuation, that might make a difference - I have no idea why they sometimes do desktop and sometimes physical.. the house we are trying to buy is a very normal 60-70’s semi in very good order but they did a physical on that.nsh2111 said:Here are my timelines. Either way it seems as though it’s progressing well your end if it was only received on 1st August?!0

Mine was a desktop. I got the feeling it was because we are only after a 18%LTV mortgage. So less risk to them and they would easily be able to recoup the total amount if it was repossessed. I may be wrong. They are all about saving money these days..1616six said:

My application was also submitted 1 August. They applied for the valuation same day, but since it’s a physical visit that’s taking place next Friday. It was passed to underwriting yesterday. So similar to younsh2111 said:Here are my timelines. I read in previous messages that it goes from underwriting to valuation but it seems the other way around for me? 0 0

When we submitted the application, I realised I was not on the electoral register as we had only lived in this house for two years and it slipped my mind. Anyone else not on the register? Worried it’s going to affect my chances . I’ve applied and been added since submitting my application.                         0 .
