I still haven’t heard anything from the 17th and we applied on the 8th it’s annoying me now! Haha
I feel you haha the most frustrating thing! Especially when you see other people's timelines and they're getting offers but applied after you! I'm happy for everyone, and I know everyone's case is different but mannnn oh mannn, I just wish they'd give us a glimmer of hope or something! Haha!!
When did yours go to the underwriters:)

I'm not too sure, our broker hasn't told us, they basically told us last Monday 17th that the valuation was done and on Tuesday told us the valuation was satisfactory and now we're just waiting on the offer but a week has gone by with nothing. It's so confusing. I've emailed the broker this morning and sent them another payslip just incase they ask with it being the end of the month, and just asked if they know what's happening.
  • Did anyone get ask about there deposit as ours is gifted but has ask no questions about who has gifting it to us was just wondering if I should just upload it so I don’t get put back in the underwriting que

So same time as me then. If they come back and ask for more documents I will scream hahaha. My text said within 3 days I’d find out. We previously got accepted a few weeks ago but had to do application again but I went to underwriters and was approved in a day so that’s prob why I’m loosin my mind now lol

Mortage offer received in the post by Santander today, finally! However our sellers are still yet to provide relevant information to their solicitors so no draft contracts have been started meaning no searches have been completed- our offer on the property was accepted 5 weeks ago so I am very fustrated as we can not move forward !

Just applied for our mortgage! Seems to be moving a little slower than our last application at the end of April (we cancelled late on due to pulling out of the house).

    So far...

20/5/21 - Offer on house accepted
    20/5/21 - Applied for mortgage
20/5/21 - Asked for supporting documents

    Good luck everyone!
Hi, how did you get the daily updates? Did your broker send it to you? I applied the same day as you.  Thank you
  • Hi all,
Glad I found this so am not alone!
Our mortgage application was submitted 21/04/2021 so we've been waiting over a month!
Because we are currently with Santander we are trying to stay with them but they have had so many questions on my husbands self employed bank account even though everything is very straight forward, he's been earning good money etc.
Last questions were asked on 12th and responded too the same day, supposedly passed back to underwriters on the 19th but we are STILL waiting - ergh!
Lets hope we all hear back with positive results this week.

Hi, as I applied direct, I get email and text notifications when something needs to be done. I literally just received one ten minutes ago explaining that they have instructed valuation checks on the property. I don't know how fast or slow things move when a mortgage broker is involved. Hopefully if you're paying things will progress nice and fast!
