Morning all
I have been a lurker here ever since we applied for our AIP. I thought I would post our timeline as looking at everyone else’s has helped me so much!12/04 AIP
27/04 offer accepted on house
06/05 full mortgage application
06/05 hard credit check
13/05 additional questions asked
20/05 valuation
21/05 at 6pm email confirming offer from Santander
Just waiting to hear from our broker now as to whether the offer was what we requested in our application!1 -
Just an update from me. We did get the offer, however it looks like our broker applied for the wrong product. We have been offered over 30 years as opposed to the 25!This process is so stressful!0

We've still not heard a peep since the 12th. Valuation done 17th and still not heard anything. It's getting a joke now. Going to email MA today to see what the hold up is, they haven't even requested any more information for review!Kirkii27 said:I still haven’t heard anything... anyone else still waiting to hear who have been with underwriters since the 17th?

Thanks for sharing your timeline - I didn't realise the offer email comes to us as broker applicants so that is good to know (however I will now be refreshing my email even more regularly than i do now haha!)Newbie598 said:Just an update from me. That's really annoying about the wrong product - do they just amend the offer or will the whole application need to be done again?
I guess the difference in years would increase the monthly payments so they'd need to check affordability but hopefully only that. Hope its straighforward for you.1 -

I didn’t realise either to be honest. We had only had one other email from Santander saying the application had been received.NewToThis2021 said:

Its been a stressful morning our broker has said it’s a relatively quick process and should only take a couple of days so they have submitted the amendment. I hope the timings are correct! That was my main thought they will have to check affordability again. 😬0 -
I still haven’t heard anything from the 17th and we applied on the 8th it’s annoying me now! Haha1

I feel you haha the most frustrating thing! Especially when you see other people's timelines and they're getting offers but applied after you! I'm happy for everyone, and I know everyone's case is different but mannnn oh mannn, I just wish they'd give us a glimmer of hope or something! Haha!!Kirkii27 said:I still haven’t heard anything from the 17th and we applied on the 8th it’s annoying me now! Haha0 -

20/5/21 - Asked for supporting documentsGood luck everyone!0
