Our broker provided further information on Monday (17th) and called Santander today for an update when the told her it would be at least another 2 working days before we get an update due to a backlog2

Do the Santander underwriting/general mortgage team work weekends? Ie when they say working days do they mean Monday to Friday? Or Monday to Saturday? We are holding up a chain of 5 and I’m being so chased by estate agents as everyone wants to get in before the stamp duty holiday.0

I believe the admin team do as I got a request the other Saturday, I'm not sure about the underwriters though1

We had Dip on 30th April full application submitted shortly after, request for accountants letter etc uploaded on the 7th last weekend reduced lend proposed of 200k against 247k requested back in queue MB reckons its a formality but we been basically on hold since last Friday! They are working late evenings and Saturdays but I can see a load of requests for reduced prices to allow for lost stamp duty discount!!0
