Starting to get a bit annoyed with these solicitors. Sellers solicitors say they sent the draft contracts over yesterday afternoon, but my solicitors are saying they haven't received anything.
Need this so that the searches can be ordered. Sometimes I wish these guys just pick up the phone and communicate with each other rather than email non stop.
I have been on the phone to my solicitor, she sent an email to vendor solicitor last week and still haven’t heard anything
Well I got an auto response today saying my conveyancer is on holiday till the 3/6. He didn't even let me know himself that he will be away or who will be taking over the file if anyone.

Sellers solicitors have been a nightmare also sending over draft contracts. For some reason they weren't able to email it over as it didn't work. Searches havent been applied for yet either because of this.

God knows what happens now ....
Omg that crap ain’t it, ring them and ask will someone else be doing it as they on holiday, I’m ringing mine tomorrow as when I spoke to the ES he said there was a minor error from the vendors side so chasing tomorrow to see what’s going on

Our application went back to the underwriters today 🤞 received an offer in November but that purchase fell through. Asked them to change to new property but as hubby is self employed they're treating it like a new application and have raised queries this time and we had to supply an accountant letter. And this was the bit I was least worried about 🙄 borrowing same amount but slightly higher ltv, although still less than 50%. Worried they're going to say no :(

My partner and his dad have applied for a mortgage as the deposit isn’t classed as a gift. When I last applied with Santander it took a week to be approved. This time my timeline still right at the beginning. They emailed other day asking for more documents from father in law and furlough but it’s still not under review with underwriters :(.  They applied last Saturday. I know there still loads of time but worrying especially after already being accepted previously I feel we maybe declined
