Hi everyone, MB told me he submitted my BTL application on 4th May. so far, I have not received any confirmation from Santander, no valuation instructed, no credit searches on my file. After I chased MB yesterday, he requested more documents regarding my income, but that is about all the communication I had from him so far. Does it sound right? I start to doubt if the application has even been submitted? Maybe he has only been doing his own checks in the past 10 days? Has my application been submitted to the underwriter? I have been losing lots of sleep in the last two days. Any advice will be much appreciated.0

So we applied 19th April
full credit check etc same day
Valuation 4th may
broker told me all fully approved on Monday 10th May but today it’s gone to underwriters
I thought it would have been to underwriters by now. Really worried0 -
Hi everyone,Been a stalker of this thread for a few days. And when I say stalker, boy do I mean Grade A, High Class stalker. Started at the very beginning and have read through every post. Yes. EVERY post.Thought I’d finally introduce my circumstances.FTB with a LTV of 75% with H2B. (Yes I learnt all that cool jargon from this thread)We’re SE and E went through a MA (asked for loads of info, bank statements, SA302s, tax overview for two years, expenses, previous employment, covid, proof of address, kitchen sink... I could go on)No furlough and no government grants for either applicant. My current timeline is as follows:DIP - 3rd AprNew Build House Resv: 10th AprAIP for HTB - 7th MayApplication Submission to Santander - 10th MayValuation Booked - 18th MayApparently they haven’t even looked at anything to do with our application yet at all though. No credit checks at all (other than one soft check for the DIP)Honestly have 0% chance of getting this mortgage. Lost all hope after reading the rollercoaster of this thread. And it’s already ruining my life. Can’t sleep or concentrate, or make my battery life on my phone last more than 12 hours because I’m constantly updating my emails or the Santander service level page in the hopes that they’ve said my mortgage has been approved in record time.Good luck to everyone and I really root for every single one of you and get such a rush whenever anyone gets theirs that it’s almost like getting one yourself.0

Welcome to the club Emilieeeeee! This process turns the most level headed sane people into nervous wrecks doesn't it, 8 months in and my nerves are shot! Hopefully you'll hear something soon although SE applications seem to take a bit longer than for the employed. Mine is back with the underwriters now 😬🤞0

I applied on 23rd April.
Soft and hard credit search on the same day.
Valuation booked on 7th May.
They requested for below documentation after valuation.
1. 2020 and 2021 p60 for second job
2. Breakdown of typical working work week including number of hours worked.
3.written confirmation that I am prepared to continue carrying out second job.
4.Confirmation if I will incur any child care costs.
Has any been asked these questions before?
I sent documents and answers on the 10th May but have not heard anything.
Stress is too much to bear?
