I am losing the will to live with it all now. It’ll be 6 weeks on Monday since my application went in - sailed through the AIP and the valuation with no questions. It’s only now that it’s in front of the underwriters that the questions have come. Three days in a row I have been answering questions about my income and bonuses etc. along with a letter from my boss about how my bonuses work and when they are paid. At least they are now looking at the responses the same day or the next day, I get a sense that they are generally being very very cautious right now and in all honesty I’m preparing myself for a decline!0

Hopefully you'll have a response soon, 6 weeks is a really long time. We are only a week and a bit in, it's going to be hard to be patient for 6 weeks if that's the case. Did you instruct your solicitor in that time as well or wait till you get your mortgage offer?0 -

IMsaver said:Morning everyone! We had our application submitted on the 22nd October and haven't heard a peep yet from Santander so presuming everything is okay so far. My partner is SE and took the SEISS help (although this was for a second side gig business, actual business wasn't affected). Has anyone got any experience with Santander and their approach to the SEISS help taken, do they penalize for it?

We also applied on September 21, we haven't been asked for anything extra at this stage but it has entered the UW queue and the valuation has been instructed.
Just got to sit tight now I think!0 -
