Back to the waiting but at least not outright rejected, every cloud! 😄

Yay at least there’s some movement now. I’ve been told today they’ve pulled our house sale and is back on the market from tomorrow. Gutted... just called MB to see if he can chase with Santander so haven’t a clue what’s happening now 😢

Yes - we had to wait about 3 weeks before could submit so I could get accounts and self employed docs activated on HMRC so that delayed us applying. It then took broker another week to hunt for the best lender and prepare the files and now it’s over a month since application. Technically our completion date was last Thursday and should have exchanged early August. It’s a nightmare

Ah nightmare. Surely putting it back on the market will take even longer? I feel so sorry for you, Santander should not be doing this to people, it's so wrong 😞 


We are exact same situation as you. Same delays applying, for the same reasons, even up to the same application date I think? it's uncanny 😄I worry about the same thing happening to us, I'm really being hounded by the rest of the chain and it's frustrating not being able to give any updates.

Update!! Yay - Santander have approved all underwriting and is marked as ‘agreed’and MB is calling them now to chase them to sign off valuation 😊

We are exact same situation as you. Same delays applying, for the same reasons, even up to the same application date I think? it's uncanny 😄I worry about the same thing happening to us, I'm really being hounded by the rest of the chain and it's frustrating not being able to give any updates. 

My MB called them this afternoon and said the sale was being pulled tomorrow and they’ve now advised it’s approved and they’re pushing the offer paper work out ASAP. Estate agent isn’t back into work till Friday so I can’t let her know until then that we have the mortgage agreed. But all should be fine on Friday as searches are all done and ready. We have 2 weeks until ATP expires so have to exchange before then. PLUS I’m moving out of rental as we speak so it’s a hectic time!

Sounds like it's all working out now thankfully!
It's all so stressful buying and selling. Buying the place we're in now we had our previous place's buyers pull out the day before exchange,  plus I was heavily pregnant.  Not good times!
All will work out in the end, just the wait is agonising 😣

No it’s such hard work isn’t it. Strange how I call and tell them sale is pulled tomorrow and suddenly it shows as approved on system. Bet it’s been like that for days and not checked x

Eventually. To say I’m relieved is an understatement.
