Only provide April should they ask for it. As we're still in April, those 3 should be fine.0 -
Will they require the full months as it says..... Not acceptable reason: Please provide a bank statement showing your last 3 months’ salary payments. We need to see: Your name and address The running balance All of the pages of the statement.
so is it the full months or just the salary pages0 -

They want to see the whole thing. Your online bank statement would be fine.0 -
Think it’s going to be a long week for me, just emailed my broker to ask if Santander are doing a desktops valuation and they haven’t confirmed yet, he thinks it will be early next week before we hear when valuation will be done, so stressed from loosing the first house, trying to find a new house which we now have found a better house, now waiting again for a valuation plus new house is in probate 🤯🤯🤯🤯0

Mine took 5 working days to hear about underwriting and survey being booked.1 -

Lo3n8 said:Hi, has anyone applied to Santander and declared benefits (child benefit and tax credits) as part of their income along with salaries?? We've been asked to 'confirm and explain we will be able to afford the mortgage payments still when the benefits stop'. I'm panicking a little because although the monthly payments are more than affordable for us, apart from stating that as a reason and the fact that our wages will likely increase each tax year, I'm not sure what else they expect us to say?!
I presume they're asking for this as our mortgage term is over 30 years and youngest child is 5.
Any tips would be very helpful!
I applied direct online on 21/4/21. I got asked this question too. I used my salary and child benefit as income. I also wasn’t sure what to answer but I just explained my salary increased every April on an increment scale and one increase should offset the child benefit payment (I only have one child). So far I have been asked for payslip/ proof of child benefit. Also questions about covid and furlough (don’t apply to me), as well as queries regarding childcare costs and more details about a partial gifted deposit. The last message I had was on Saturday saying it had been approved by the underwriters but that I still needed to input the ID code (I did this yesterday) and await the valuation. I phoned Santander and they said the valuation took place on 24/4 (I wasn’t informed it was happening and it was very soon after I applied so assuming it was a desktop valuation).I am hoping (and praying lol) that all of the above means it’s just awaiting the offer being put together and that’s the next I will hear. How’s yours coming along?0
