They've updated their service levels. Seems like underwriters are working on Fridays cases in 1 working day now. So fingers crossed. Ours went to underwriters Friday so I'm hoping we hear tomorrowSierra_Juliette said:

Our valuation was instructed the day after application, booked 3 days after and scheduled for 5th May.ubayd95 said:
You would get a text if it's gone to offer apparently. That's what my broker told me.Pepod said:Valuation been completed for us with no comment on it, so I assume this has been OK? I need to provide another payslip as Santander is querying a discretionary deduction on my last one.
I'm just now waiting for my valuation, how long did yours take to get booked/happen?
Meanwhile, my extra requested docs about my previous sick leave have been sent to the underwriters through our MB!She gave them a call to see if there was anything else they requested and was advised that it’ll be Thursday before they get to look at it due to the size of the queue (3 working days service level)
Really hoping all goes to plan!0 -
Changed our house as other house fell through, haven’t got to go bk to underwriters as we putting a bigger deposit down, just the house got to be booked in for valuation which was put in today and should know more the end of week, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly1

I am in same position as you - apart from we pulled out of previous property due to surveyor reports. We still hadn’t had an offer on old property however has been with the underwriters for a few days before we pulled out - new property a little cheaper. Change of property form sent on Thursday morning. Still yet to hear where we stand or if valuation has been rebooked, the waiting is killing me !Cookie211 said:Changed our house as other house fell through, haven’t got to go bk to underwriters as we putting a bigger deposit down, just the house got to be booked in for valuation which was put in today and should know more the end of week, fingers crossed everything goes smoothly0 -
The wait is the worst, we have had the full mortgage offer and the same day the vendor pulled out, I have been so depressed and upset as the houses are selling so fast but finally found a much better one, as we putting a bigger deposit down it haven’t got to go bk to underwriters it’s just got to valued so hoping it won’t take long, fingers crossed we hear something soon, we also in a situation as the house is in probate so hopefully everything will be fine with this house, let’s hope we hear soon 🤞🤞🤞lg220701 said:

Hi, has anyone applied to Santander and declared benefits (child benefit and tax credits) as part of their income along with salaries?? We've been asked to 'confirm and explain we will be able to afford the mortgage payments still when the benefits stop'. I'm panicking a little because although the monthly payments are more than affordable for us, apart from stating that as a reason and the fact that our wages will likely increase each tax year, I'm not sure what else they expect us to say?!
I presume they're asking for this as our mortgage term is over 30 years and youngest child is 5.
Any tips would be very helpful!

I don't think we were asked the affordability question though my mortgage advisor just sent proof of my child benefit through my bank statement. We are 90% ltv over 30 years and my little one is 2Lo3n8 said:Hi, has anyone applied to Santander and declared benefits (child benefit and tax credits) as part of their income along with salaries??
