Do they work Saturdays? I only applied yesterday and had to send one payslip0

I’m a long way off from a mortgage offer by the looks of it. Does provisionally accepted mean it needs to go to the underwriter?0

Fingers crossed for you!Cookie211 said:Yay they have accepted my offer on the house 🏠 got to go bk to underwriters now tho as need to lend £12,000 more 🤞🤞🤞🤞
Our searches and building survey are due back next week and then all we set to book in an exchange/completion date which will hopefully be mid to end of May.
Slightly nervous about the vendors though. They original said they were moving to a property rented by family whilst they look for a house so there wouldn't be a chain. Then last week they put an offer in which was accepted. It is an empty rental property and they are seeing if they can move in on a rental basis until the sale goes through, hopefully that all works out. I would be gutted to miss out on the stamp duty holiday at the last hurdle.0 -

Texted my broker this morning to see if there was an update.
"Wow looks like they are working overtime on Saturday, just received email saying application agreed so all good. Next step Monday should be survey!"
Some good news to start the weekend! I hope we all get answers soon0 -
Yeah they specifically requested that I provide proof that I’m back at work. Thankfully I’m paid next week so won’t have too long to wait.031192vy353 said:
Did they mention your sick pay and that they wanted to wait for your next one? My last payslip had a month's sick on it and they declined our application until I could provide my next payslip to show that I was back which I provided on Wednesday. So hoping that this is us as we've everything done valuation etc and underwriting.Sierra_Juliette said:
Not as yet. Our broker came back today requesting confirmation of my pay as I work in the south of Ireland and my payslip doesn’t show the € symbol anywhere. Had to get a P60 sent over to them for clarification.ubayd95 said:
Good news for you! Has you underwriting been done yet?Sierra_Juliette said:
Update today - valuation booked tor 5th MaySierra_Juliette said:Update for us:

Hope it continues to move this fast
I’m also pregnant and have a week (full paid) sick on my last payslip, they’re waiting for my next one on Thursday for confirmation that I’m back to work! Hope that doesn’t affect us 🤞🏻Fingers crossed for you!! Hope you’re at the end now0 -
I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for my next payslip but thankfully they let us just reopen our case which was done yesterday so we're in underwriting queue now. Praying that early next week we finally get our approval, vendors getting anxiousSierra_Juliette said:

A friend of mine is applying for an mortgage with santander and the application has been in almost 3 weeks. Her husband was on furlough (in hospitality ind) and initially they told them that a letter from his employer would be sufficient if it stated when he would be back at work, but then they asked for one to say actually back once he returned on 12th April. Will this be all, or are they likely to say they want a payslip to confirm that he is back at work? Has anyone any experience? Thanks.

Hi,
I applied on Friday. Today I’ve received a text to send more info furlough (to prove I haven’t been) and ID. They’ve also instructed a valuation.
What happens after valuation? Is it the underwriters0
