They must be working Sundays also then, that's good news. Fingers crossed for youWd85 said:Hi,
I applied on Friday. Today I’ve received a text to send more info furlough (to prove I haven’t been) and ID. They’ve also instructed a valuation.
What happens after valuation? Is it the underwriters0 -
Has anyone experienced changing property’s durning a mortgage application with Santander? We applied for our mortgage on the original property on 08/04. Valuation was instructed and sent to underwriters a few days later. There was then a request for a supporting document- which was sent the same day. No further questions asked since.
We have recently changed our property on 22/04 due to a surveyor report on the original property. The substitute property form was sent over to Santander with all the details on the 22/04.
Does anyone have any idea how long I am likely to wait to hear back? The property price was infact a little less than the original property so I presume I won’t have to go back to underwriting?1 -
I'm in the same position. I applied via Satander on the 23/03, case was all agreed then survey. Due to EWS1 being a B2 no one would lend.
Broker was off for a week so so submitted the change of property form on the 12th, it went back to underwriting as we are lending 10k more and property price has changed.
I only heard back yesterday with a response that case is all agreed subject to survey. Should hear on survey Monday or Tuesday I think.
Hope this helps0 -
I’ve really been worrying over the weekend. My new payslip will show 1 sick day over the month but that’ll be some form of sick pay showing on all 4 payslips that I’ve provided to them. Seriously worrying now that it’ll affect our application.031192vy353 said:
I had to wait nearly 3 weeks for my next payslip but thankfully they let us just reopen our case which was done yesterday so we're in underwriting queue now. Praying that early next week we finally get our approval, vendors getting anxiousSierra_Juliette said:
Yeah they specifically requested that I provide proof that I’m back at work. Thankfully I’m paid next week so won’t have too long to wait.031192vy353 said:
Did they mention your sick pay and that they wanted to wait for your next one? My last payslip had a month's sick on it and they declined our application until I could provide my next payslip to show that I was back which I provided on Wednesday. So hoping that this is us as we've everything done valuation etc and underwriting.Sierra_Juliette said:
Not as yet. Our broker came back today requesting confirmation of my pay as I work in the south of Ireland and my payslip doesn’t show the € symbol anywhere. Had to get a P60 sent over to them for clarification.ubayd95 said:
Good news for you! Has you underwriting been done yet?Sierra_Juliette said:
Update today - valuation booked tor 5th MaySierra_Juliette said:Update for us:
20th April - application submitted

Hope it continues to move this fast
I’m also pregnant and have a week (full paid) sick on my last payslip, they’re waiting for my next one on Thursday for confirmation that I’m back to work! Hope that doesn’t affect us 🤞🏻Fingers crossed for you!! Hope you’re at the end nowOn top of that, the doctor has suggested I get signed off for the next 5 weeks to take me to my holidays which leads me to maternity pay. I don’t know what to do now! Will chat with my broker tomorrow to see what she thinks. I don’t want anything to jeopardise the application but I’m also having a really rough pregnancy!I’ve everything crossed for you that you get your approval!!!0 -
Definetly speak with your broker and maybe even get them to ring santander because our application got declined initially because my last 2 payslips had sick on them but it was because i was off for 6 weeks in a row. It might be different in your circumstances however I'd definetly check it out beforehand. Hopefully everything works out for you. Let me know if you hearSierra_Juliette said:

Valuation been completed for us with no comment on it, so I assume this has been OK? I need to provide another payslip as Santander is querying a discretionary deduction on my last one.0

You would get a text if it's gone to offer apparently. That's what my broker told me.Pepod said:Valuation been completed for us with no comment on it, so I assume this has been OK? I need to provide another payslip as Santander is querying a discretionary deduction on my last one.
I'm just now waiting for my valuation, how long did yours take to get booked/happen?0 -
Yeah I’ll get onto her first thing in the morning. I don’t want my pregnancy hidden from Santander as such for this reason.031192vy353 said:
