Have I got a mortgage brokerlg220701 said:Can anyone enlighten me on the current waiting times with Santander. Submitted my application yesterday and wondering how long I am likely to wait. Today I have received an email with them asking if myself and my partners jobs have been effected by covid 19, is this a question they ask everyone ? Or does this mean they have started to deal with my application?0 -
Mine is fairly straightforward. Only thing that could complicate things is my partner has a one month gap in employment ( only time he has ever had a gap in employment) however he has now been in his new employment for 10 weeks. Not a high value mortage ( first time buyer, more of a project and only planning on living there for a few years)peacetrustlove said:
Deepened upon the complexity of your application. I’m already in my 6th week 😬😬😬. But mine is a very complex and high value application. Good luck mate. Their maximum quoted time is 6 weeks as per my MA.lg220701 said:Can anyone enlighten me on the current waiting times with Santander. Yes I did think it was odd too, considering I work for the NHS so it is pretty clear covid 19 has not impacted my employment!Cookie211 said:

I’ve emailed my MA. Can’t wait any longer now lol. But he doesn’t respond unless there is an update. In the end, it’s just a waiting game anyway 😭😭0

Apparently they do ask stupid questions, they asked my broker if I was going to take finance out to buy another sofa as I just finished paying my sofa off lol that was the last question 2 days ago, fingers crossed for uslg220701 said:
