Deepened upon the complexity of your application. I’m already in my 6th week 😬😬😬. But mine is a very complex and high value application. Good luck mate. Their maximum quoted time is 6 weeks as per my MA. 

Mine is fairly straightforward. Only thing that could complicate things is my partner has a one month gap in employment ( only time he has ever had a gap in employment) however he has now been in his new employment for 10 weeks. Not a high value mortage ( first time buyer, more of a project and only planning on living there for a few years)

Yes I did think it was odd too, considering I work for the NHS so it is pretty clear covid 19 has not impacted my employment!

I’ve emailed my MA. Can’t wait any longer now lol. But he doesn’t respond unless there is an update. In the end, it’s just a waiting game anyway 😭😭

Apparently they do ask stupid questions, they asked my broker if I was going to take finance out to buy another sofa as I just finished paying my sofa off lol that was the last question 2 days ago,  fingers crossed for us
