My mortgage was applied for via my broker on the 25th too. Like you praying for an offer. It will be interesting if our timelines will be similar. 

Other contributors have posted this link which seems helpful to get a guide on how long things are currently taking with Santender. I've not been on here long enough to post the link but I'm sure someone will be kind enough to post it. At the moment it says average time to an offer 12 working days. 

I've tried to be prepared for whenever my application gets to the underwriters and sent latest bank statements and pay slips as I receive them just in case they get requested - I suppose by sending them I'm also hinting to my broker to give me an update even if the update is no update. 

Fingers crossed we hear soon, my broker said we should hear hopefully end of week so hoping for a offer

22/03 Full mortgage application
22/03 Santander hard credit search
23/03 Text from Santander about receiving my application
24/03 Valuation booked in for 26/03

Just waiting for the valuation results to come back after Friday now. I am slightly concerned as there were 3 other offers on the property that were made from viewings on the same day, so I had to go £5000 above the asking price, but it's nothing too steep hopefully. I'm hoping there aren't any unforseen issues as I have good credit and i'm in a secure full time job.

25/03 MB informed me that my mortgage offer has been accepted pending valuation tomorrow!

This has all moved faster than i'd imagined!

26/03 Valuation completed. Full mortgaged offered.
30/03 Searches started by solicitor

I’m not sure why there is this thread for Santander and not any others? Anyway here’s my Santander mortgage line 😊
22 Feb - initial contact with mortgage advisor and uploading of all relevant docs to their portal. 

25 Feb - Decision in principle 

15 March - mortgage application submitted 
22 March - query regarding HMRC tax year overviews 
29 March - confirmed that valuation has been done (desktop valuation only) 
30 March - offer issued

if I sent my last documents that Santander asked for on Monday and my broker uploaded them Monday,when should I hear back from them,my broker is hoping for a offer thanks

This is the same as me. Underwriters requested more documents and they were uploaded first thing Monday. We're prying for an outcome today, hopefully we'll both hear soon

Yes fingers crossed for us both, the waiting is a killer,been trying since feb, changes broker and everything seems to have gone so quick as only submitted last Thursday, but the same time dragging lol just need a offer lol
