Good morning everyone!

I found your thread on here last night after submitting our AIP!

we had a dip through Nationwide back in February with the agreement of 10% deposit. All done though our mortgage broker. 

Finally found a beautiful perfect house for us with no chain which is a bonus. We have a FTB purchasing our home so technically chain free! We put an offer in and it was accepted the next day again perfect! 

Advised our MB who then went to complete mortgage application for offer through nationwide and the cheeky so and so’s have requested a 15% deposit! Which has put us right out as with fees and everything it’s just not affordable! 

MB then went thought NatWest and TSB both the same wanting 15% deposits. Therefor we found Santander who are offering us 10% thank god!

MB did AIP and put mortgage application through yesterday to which we had this text message about 30 mins later 

We're pleased to confirm we've received your mortgage application. Please contact your mortgage broker if you need any more information. Santander

Hopefully we will have some good news soon as we do not want to lose this dream house!!

Yes it's been referred to the next stage. Mortgage advisor thinks we should have decision soon 🙏 can't settle myself. Just feel sick. Hope you hear soon too

What’s your timeline ? I am also feeling sick this wait is terrible 
I hope yo hear today or worst case scenario before the bank holiday !!! 😭😰

Yours was submitted 1 day before ours so I'm praying that's good for us and we may hear something soon. They've accepted all of our documents that were requested, literally just waiting on decision 🙏

Hi everyone thought I’d join in as we going out of our minds also,went with 1 mb and got declined twice with 2 different lenders,changed our mb who got us a dip with Santander on the 25th March,full application in 25th also,had text to say they received it,mb rang us to say desktop valuation have been done also,we should hear something Monday 29th, mb rang us and said Santander have came back and said we need to clear my sofa on finance which we only owed £200 and send proof it’s been paid and to prove our very accounts are clear as it’s showing we owe on our credit check which we don’t owe anything on them,sent everything over yesterday and my mb said he’s hoping we here by Thursday, preying we have a offer
