    Not sure if it has gone to the processing centre for the offer yet. The underwriters are involved from the beginning. I don’t know how long it will take now. Could be any day now or could even take weeks.

    Did they send you things to send them and that was it. They've requested 5 of 6 documents from us and will be submitting the last one this weekend. Hoping thats everything they want from us and we can move forward in our application

     Completion delayed 10 days due to vendor’s packers & mover’s non-availability. Completing next week. 

    You seemed to have a few requested documents. Are you self employed or employed, on furlough. Or why did they keep coming back and forward asking for more documents each time
    I have a limited company, as a director I will come under self employed, my wife employed and  got shares in my company too. during  Christmas time and the time we applied most Banks tighten there lending criteria, so they wanted to see we are worth to pay back our mortgage ;-)

    Yes we got full mortgage offer, we completed our sale.

    My MA has already submitted my documents. IDs, accountants certificates as I’m self employed, bank statements etc on the 16th of March.

    First time poster and first time buyer so I'm both impatient and worried. Not sure which emotion is stronger at the moment. So please forgive me. 

    Anyway. Application went into Santander yesterday (25th) via my broker. 
    I received an email and text from Santander confirming application.
    I can see a soft search on my experian report but this was done on the 24th (I assume my broker did a AIP as it states "Quotation – Mortgage Quotation") 
    So far no other checks on my file. I've been going through this thread and I was getting the impression a hard and soft search is done pretty much straight away. 

    Anyway hopefully the application won't take too long.

    I think everyone's application seems to be different. My soft search was done for my dip then hard search for "first mortgage" was done and my credit score went down as a result of this but ma told me not to worry.

    I understand these things take time and I shouldn't worry. My first time I suppose its only natural. 
    I will probably ask my broker for an update just before the bank holiday next week and see what stage the application is at. I doubt I'll hear anything before then.
