Santander mortgage timeline

First time poster here.
This is my timeline so far:
13/03 Offer put in
15/03 DIP
17/03 Offer accepted
22/03 Full mortgage application
22/03 Santander hard credit search
23/03 Text from Santander about receiving my application
24/03 Valuation booked in for 26/03
Just waiting for the valuation results to come back after Friday now. I am slightly concerned as there were 3 other offers on the property that were made from viewings on the same day, so I had to go £5000 above the asking price, but it's nothing too steep hopefully. I'm hoping there aren't any unforseen issues as I have good credit and i'm in a secure full time job.

Hi! We submitted our application through MB Monday night. Text from Santander to confirm application (16/03) We haven’t had any update so far but I’m guessing we’ll just know soon as our MB has the decision. We’ve gone with Santander because stupidly my partner put a huge bet on in January (never done this before) and my MB advised it would look bad on his statement. Apparently Santander and Halifax aren’t currently requesting statements to apply but there is always the risk they may request them at underwriting stage. We’ve submitted 3 months statements and payslips to MB as they always ask for this just incase but praying Santander will accept based on payslips and credit score. Best of luck anyone and let’s hope we have our answers soon 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼

exactly same as us. Partner has quite a lot of betting transactions on his bank statements. 🤞 So far they've only asked for my bank statements as proof of child benefit for our little girl.z060291 said:Hi! That's what we are are hoping for anyway!! Underwriters asked us for quite a bit more information regarding a few things so I'm hoping my payslip on Monday will be everything for them but who knows!z060291 said:

Yes sounds likely then. I'm sure you're relieved that everything is approved. I'm hoping to get that text message over the weekend 🙏Bob456 said:
