Santander mortgage timeline

HI,
I am bit stressed, as the valuation of the property took place last Friday and i have not receive any information after that from Bank. I have applied direct and the person who submitted my application is not replying emails. I am not sure what are my options. I am FTB and getting very anxious now

@Mani_London it can take a few days after valuation to hear back from the bank. Hopefully you should get a response by the end of the week. Try not to stress. Goodluck!

What is your timeline ? How long it took for bank to contact you after valuation ?

@Mani_London give them a call and get yourself sent a tracking information to email to check everything online. Again don’t stress there’s just too much backlog at the moment

Thanks @Ahmed202 I am not sure why i was not given the tracking link from the start.
Would you mind sharing how long it took bank to contact you after the valuation.

@Mani_London my one was desktop valuation luckily and now I’m just waiting to do the address verification

Just an update that I have received the Mortgage Offer through in Post. Now going to chase my vendor Solicitors through EA in regards to pre contract enquiries we raised last week.

Congrats on the mortgage offer. Can I just ask, did they pass your affordability and credit checks etc before the valuation? 

My MB is saying they have approved our credit checks etc so approved subject to valuation, but cannot see any hard credit searches done on my clearscore? 

Seems a bit odd to me, but then again not sure if clearscore updates the checks daily or monthly.

@Jaydennn96 they use Experian for hard search as they’ve done for me
