Thanks very much we applied 10/11my mortgage broker said will be another 3 week at least until my case is looked atMeh123 said:
Our broker wanted them on file but they weren’t requested at initial assessment and they said that Santander don’t ask for them as standard. They might do, but they’re asked not to provide them unless they’re requested.Katemb94 said:Can I ask how many people have been asked for bank statements we have not been asked for these by broker so if they request them its a longer wait I guess? Thank you
i think it’s a week wait for them to assess new documents that are sent it atm.
hope that helps a bit.0 -

They’re really behind at the moment! They received ours on the 18th October, went into the queue on the 26th....hoping it gets seen Friday this week or early next week, as they’re currently on the 21st Oct. It’s definitely been a wait, I’m ready to just know now 😂Katemb94 said:

Do you know when you joined the underwriting queue? It’s currently taking about 4.5/5 weeks to get to the top of it 😅 my husband and I causally laugh at the memory of our MB saying it would be 3/4 weeks to offer! He lied 😂😂Katemb94 said:

Apparently we joined on the 12th November I think will be at least January now, however we need to exchange by the 10th as this is the deadline for us to apply for my sons school and whole reason of moving areas, apparently a case can be escalated to a business development manager if time scales goes over 4 weeks. Putting to the back of our mind now and what will be will be I guess. Good luck xMeh123 said:

22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)
10/11 - found another mortgage advisor
11/11 - AIP with Santander (single applicant, shared ownership, 85LTV)
12/11 - all documents sent
13/11 - application with Santander submitted and passed to underwriting. Valuation booked for 23/11
19/11 - mortgage agreed, subject to a satisfactory valuation
23/11 - mortgage offer issued
It's been a very quick process for us with Santander. And we had an email from our broker, email from Santander and the text
and if anyone is looking for a mortgage broker - I high recommend Sarah (on this forum: haras_n0sirrah) 22/09 - application submitted with Leeds BS, long story short, on the 9/11 we've been told that Leeds is reducing the amount they're willing to lend by nearly £20k (turns out our broker FORGOT to declare our child on the application)

In terms of documents I ALWAYS get bank statements for our file and our compliance however will only forward to the lender if they request it.0 -
It’s all you can do, we’re 5 weeks in now but as much as I’ve lost my mind a bit the time definitely does pass!! You probably did get in to the queue almost straight away, they’re a lot quicker now and the last couple of weeks it seems they’re processing applications a lot quicker than when I applied!Katemb94 said:

hope that helps a bit.Our sellers are in the exact same position and we have to be done for the 15th Jan so they’re kids can get through school admissions too! I think you’ll be pleasantly surprised and be sorted in December, it’ll all sort itself out in time for you.0 -
